Allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT) is a curative therapy for many hematological diseases, but there are many complications following allo-HSCT, among which neurological ...complications (NC) are one of the most commonly described ones. However, little is known about idiopathic inflammatory demyelinating diseases (IIDDs) of the central nervous system (CNS) in patients following allo-HSCT.
A nested case-control study was conducted in a large cohort of 1365 patients, who underwent allo-HSCT at the Institute of Hematology and Peking University People's Hospital, between January 2004 and December 2009, 36 patients of whom developed CNS IIDDs. Kaplan-Meier method, univariate and multivariate Cox regression were applied in our statistical analysis using SPSS 16.0.
The cumulative incidence of all cases of IIDDs at 6 years posttransplantation was 3.6%. Thirty-five patients (97.2%) suffered IIDDs after transplantation, 16 patients (44.4%) between day 0 to day 100 post-transplantation, 10 patients (27.8%) between day 100 to 1 year post-transplantation, and 9 patients (25.0%) 1 year post-transplantation. Multivariate regression analysis identified donor type (P = 0.031), infection (P = 0.009), and acute lymphatic leukemia (P = 0.017) as independent risk factors for posttransplantation IIDDs. The median survival time of patients with IIDDs was 514 days after transplantation (95%CI: 223 - 805). Survival at 6 years was significantly lower in patients who developed the diseases compared to those who did not (26.6% vs. 73.5%, P < 0.001). Of the 36 patients experiencing IIDDs, 58.3% (n = 21) died. The causes of death were graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) (n = 4), underlying disease relapse (n = 3), infections (n = 12), and other causes (n = 2).
IIDDs is an uncommon but serious complication of allo-HSCT, especially in patients with a primary diagnosis of acute lymphatic leukemia, mismatched transplants, and infections. Our study results indicate that patients with IIDDs tend toward a poor prognosis following allo-HSCT.
Based on the VHF lightning locating system, a three-dimensional-space cell-gridded approach is used to extract the lighting channel and calculate the length of the channel. Through clustering of the ...located radiation sources and then extracting the lightning channel, it can accurately obtain the length of the channel. To validate the feasibility of the approach, a simulation experiment is designed, and it shows the length error is no more than 10%. The relationship between the NO production of per unit arc length and atmospheric pressure obtained in laboratory is applied to the NOx production of per unit flash length at different altitudes in this paper. The channel length and the NOx production of 11 negative cloud-to-ground flashes and 59 intracloud flashes in an isolated thunderstorm in the northeastern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau are calculated. The results show that the average channel lengths of per cloud-to-ground and intracloud flash are 28.9 and 22.3 km respectively; the average NOx productions of per cloud-to-ground and intracloud flash are 1.89× 10^25 and 0.42× 10^25 molecules, respectively.
Nondestructive method of measuring soluble solids content （SSC） of citrus fruits was developed using Fourier transform near infrared reflectance （FT-NIR） measurements collected through optics fiber. ...The models describing the relationship between SSC and the NIR spectra of citrus fruits were developed and evaluated. Different spectra correction algorithms （standard normal variate （SNV）, multiplicative signal correction （MSC）） were used in this study. The relationship between laboratory SSC and FT-NIR spectra of citrus fruits was analyzed via principle component regression （PCR） and partial least squares （PLS） regression method. Models based on the different spectral ranges were compared in this research. The first derivative and second derivative were applied to all spectra to reduce the effects of sample size, light scattering, instrument noise, etc. Different baseline correction methods were applied to improve the spectral data quality. Among them the second derivative method after baseline correction produced best noise removing capability and yielded optimal calibration models. A total of 170 NIR spectra were acquired; 135 NIR spectra were used to develop the calibration model; the remaining spectra were used to validate the model. The developed PLS model describing the relationship between SSC and NIR reflectance spectra could predict SSC of 35 samples with correlation coefficient of 0.995 and RMSEP of 0.79°Brix.
Background： Peri-strut low-intensity area （PLIA） is a typical image pattern ofneointima detected by optical coherence tomography （OCT） after stent implantation. However, few studies evaluated the ...predictors and prognosis of the PLIA; therefore, we aimed to explore the genesis and prognosis of PLIA detected by OCT in this study.
Methods： Patients presenting neointimal hyperplasia documented by OCT reexamination after percutaneous coronary intervention were prospectively included from 2009 to 2011. Peri-strut intensity was analyzed and classified into two patterns： Low-intensity and high-intensity. Clinical characteristics were analyzed to assess their contribution to peri-strut intensity patterns. Follow-up were performed in patients who did not receive revascularization during OCT reexamination, and the prognosis of the patients was evaluated.
Results： There were 128 patients underwent OCT reexamination after stent implantation included in the study. PLIA was detected in 22 （17.2%） patients. The incidence of PLIA was positively correlated with serum triglyceride （odds ratio OR： 2.11, 95% confidence interval CI： 1.14-3.90, P = 0.017）, low-density lipoprotein （OR： 2.61, 95% CI： 1.22-5.66, P = 0.015）, history of cerebrovascular disease （OR： 101.11, 95% CI： 6.54-1562.13, P 〈 0.001）, and initial clinical presentation of acute coronary syndrome （ACS, OR： 18.77, 95% CI： 2.73-128.83, P = 0.003） while negatively correlated with stent implantation time （OR： 0.57, 95% CI： 0.33-0.98, P = 0.043）. The median follow-up was longer than 3.8 years. Major adverse cardiovascular events （MACEs） occurred in 7 （7.3%） patients while showed no correlation with PLIA. A total of 17 （17.7%） patients experienced unstable angina （UA） and showed significant correlation with PLIA （hazard ratio： 6.16, 95% CI： 1.25-30.33, P = 0.025）.
Conclusions： PLIA detected by OCT was positively correlated with higher serum lipid level, history ofcerebrovascular disease and initial presentation of ACS, and negatively correlated with stent implantation time. Patients with PLIA were more likely to have UA than those with high-intensity while no significant difference was found in MACEs.

SCL-90 scale was adopted to observe the therapeutic effect, evaluate the psychological state of patients and build a database on combination of four diagnoses.

Banxia Houpu decoction has definite therapeutic effect on globus hystericus. Its mechanism may be related to its function in relieving depression and anxiety and regulating the psychological state.
We study the \(\Upsilon\) exclusive decay into double charmonium, specifically, the \(S\)-wave charmonium \( J/\psi\) plus the \(P\)-wave charmonium \(\chi_{c0,1,2}\) in the NRQCD factorization ...framework. Three distinct decay mechanisms, i.e., the strong, electromagnetic and radiative decay channels are included and their interference effects are investigated. The decay processes \(\Upsilon(1S,2S,3S)\to J/\psi+\chi_{c1,0}\) are predicted to have the branching fractions of order \(10^{-6}\), which should be observed in the prospective Super \(B\) factory.
