Thus, ependymocytes can be classified as neurosteroid-producing cells. These experiments established that HSDH activity in ependymocytes was minimal during the early postnatal period and increased significantly by the prepubertal period and remained at this level in adult animals.

3beta-Hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase is a key enzyme in the synthesis of steroid hormones in steroid-producing organs, including the brain producing neurosteroids. 3beta-Hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase ...activity can be a marker of steroid-producing cells. We present the results of histochemical assay of this enzyme in the neocortex, hippocampus, and cerebellar cortex of gonadectomized prepubertal rats. The positive reaction was detected in hippocampal neurons, ganglionic layer cells of the cerebellar cortex (Purkinje cells), and solitary neocortical neurons of male and female rats. Gonadectomy significantly increased enzyme activity in neocortical (layer V) and hippocampal neurons and had no effect on the intensity of the reaction in Purkinje cells. This ...trend dates back to the 19th century, when there was the end of Sakoku (Japan’s policy of isolation). It is now possible to talk about the institutionalization of the identity construction policy to organized structures and regulations. Enhanced efforts in the field of Japanese traditional and popular culture, education and creative content has led to a number of institutions appearance (like Japan Foundation Fund, Japan Creative Agency, Japan Culture Fund, Agency for Cultural Affairs, Cool Japan Fund, Japan brand Fund) and changing idea about the role of culture in foreign policy realization (it is fixed the documents of the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry), as well as a number of projects (Cool Japan, Visit Japan, Japan Culture Power, Japan Manga Awards, Kawaii Ambassadors, Cosplay International Fest and etc.). These efforts are aimed at forming Japan identity abroad to solve a number of foreign policy challenges of the future and the development of economic cooperation. The Japanese government nearest plans is to increase funding in order to create a positive image of Japan in the region of East Asia. All of these allows us to speak about the policy of the Japanese construction of identity as an institutionalized process in which there was clearance of organizations and regulatory activities.
Morphometric characteristics and free radical oxidation in neurons of the neocortex and hippocampus of male and female rats were studied 1 month after administration of Sustanon-250 in a dose of 8 ...mg/kg during the pubertal period of ontogeny. The weight of the brain was shown to decrease in males. In both female and male rats, the width of the anterior parietal lobe and the numerical density of neocortical and hippocampal neurons decreased. Sex differences were found in free radical oxidation in the cerebral cortex. The intensity of this process increased significantly in females, but decreased in males.
High-precision mass measurements of exotic $^{95-97}$Ag isotopes close to the
$N = Z$ line have been conducted with the JYFLTRAP double Penning trap mass
spectrometer, with the silver ions produced ...using the recently commissioned
inductively-heated hot cavity catcher laser ion source at the Ion Guide Isotope
Separator On-Line facility. The atomic mass of $^{95}$Ag was directly
determined for the first time. In addition, the atomic masses of
$\beta$-decaying 2$^+$ and 8$^+$ states in $^{96}$Ag have been identified and
measured for the first time, and the precision of the $^{97}$Ag mass has been
improved. The newly measured masses, with a precision of $\approx$ 1 keV/c$^2$,
have been used to investigate the $N =$ 50 neutron shell closure confirming it
to be robust. Empirical shell-gap and pairing energies determined with the new
ground-state mass data are compared with the state-of-the-art \textit{ab
initio} calculations with various chiral effective field theory Hamiltonians.
The precise determination of the excitation energy of the $^{96m}$Ag isomer in
particular serves as a benchmark for \textit{ab initio} predictions of nuclear
properties beyond the ground state, specifically for odd-odd nuclei situated in
proximity to the proton dripline below $^{100}$Sn. In addition, density
functional theory (DFT) calculations and configuration-interaction shell-model
(CISM) calculations are compared with the experimental results. All theoretical
approaches face challenges to reproduce the trend of nuclear ground-state
properties in the silver isotopic chain across the $N =$50 neutron shell and
toward the proton drip-line.
