Am nächsten Morgen bemerkte das Land seltsame Entwicklungen. Auf der Baustelle, an den emporwachsenden Mauern, den Sprossen der in die Höhe ragenden Leitern, am Gerüst und an den öffentlichen ...Gebäuden wurden in einer einzigen Nacht mehrere Lautsprecher angebracht. Diese Lautsprecher, wenn sie auch angerostet und mitgenommen waren, schnarrten zum größten Teil klar und verständlich. Sie hatten in alten Tonarchiven gelegen, sie waren nach den zwanzig Jahre zurūckliegenden Ereignissen eingesammelt worden, nachdem das Land eine neue Staatsform gewāhlt hatte. Wer hātte gedacht, dass sie irgendwann wieder Verwendung finden wūrden? The next morning, the land noticed strange developments. On the construction site, on the walls going up, on the rungs of the ladders reaching on high, on the scaffolding, and on the public ...buildings, numerous loud speakers had been mounted in a single night. These speakers, if even rusted and worn out, buzzed clearly and intelligibly for the most part. They had been located in old sound archives; after the events of 20 years past, they had been gathered up when the country elected a new form of government.
