Materials producing strain in a magnetic field are known as magnetoelastic or magnetostrictive materials. A new type of material that is able to produce giant strain in a nonhomogeneous magnetic ...field has been developed. In these magnetic-field-sensitive gels (ferrogels) fine colloidal particles having superparamagnetic behavior are incorporated into a highly swollen elastic polymer network. Magnetic properties of ferrogels have been investigated using electron microscopy, static magnetization measurements, and Mössbauer spectroscopy. Analysis of the data yielded information on the superparamagnetic behavior of ferrogels and made it possible to estimate the size distribution of the magnetic cores of magnetite particles made by chemical precipitation and built into a chemically cross-linked polyvinyl alcohol matrix. The results are interpreted on the basis of a core–shell model.
Data warehousing solution development represents a challenging task which requires the employment of considerable resources on behalf of enterprises and sustained commitment from the stakeholders. ...Costs derive mostly from the amount of time invested in the design and physical implementation of these large projects, time that we consider, may be decreased through the automation of several processes. Thus, we present a framework for semi-automated implementation of multidimensional data models and introduce an automation prototype intended to reduce the time of data structures generation in the warehousing environment. Our research is focused on the design of an automation component and the development of a corresponding prototype from technical metadata.
This paper is devoted to stability analysis of discrete-time delay systems based on a set of Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals. New multiple summation inequalities are derived that involve the famous ...discrete Jensen's and Wirtinger's inequalities, as well as the recently presented inequalities for single and double summation in P.T. Nam, H. Trinh, P.N. Pathirana, Discrete inequalities based on a multiple auxiliary functions and their applications to stability analysis of time-delay systems, Journal of the Franklin Institute, (2015). The present paper aims at showing that the proposed set of sufficient stability conditions can be arranged into a bidirectional hierarchy of LMIs establishing a rigorous theoretical basis for comparison of conservatism of the investigated methods. Numerical examples illustrate the efficiency of the method.

Priča o čudesima apokrifnog podrijetla (navodno iz Djela Petrovih) postala je popularna u orijentalnom kršćanstvu i u srednjovjekovnoj Europi zahvaljujući preoblikovanju u siže s elementima paradoksa. Tako je dospjela u apokrifne pripovijesti Novoga zavjeta, u nedavno otkrivenu etiopsku Knjigu o pijetlu, zatim u rane koptske fragmente te u srednjovjekovne rukopise Nikodemova evanđelja. Cilj ove studije jest dokumentiranje toga neobičnog procesa: apokrifna pripovijetka mijenjala se usmenim prenošenjem i ostala sačuvana u nekim inačicama apokrifnih tekstova. Osobito je dragocjena građa koja svjedoči o prisutnosti toga motiva u usmenoj predaji. Pažljivo prikupljanje i zapisivanje folklora iz 19. i 20. stoljeća otkriva usmene inačice koje su formulirane kao etiološke predaje.

This article presents a series of protection measures available in the SAP Business Intelligence and operational systems, in form of authentication and authorizations procedures implemented for an application designed for the efficient management of employees’ data and time scheduling.
