Rockkongen Elvis Presley og popkongen Michael Jackson er begge aktuelle i disse dage. Så kan man jo ...diskutere, hvem af dem der virker mest levende.

Megastar Michael Jackson was greeted to a roaring reception at the two concerts he played in Tel Aviv's Hayarkon Park - to a total of almost 160,000 people. The second concert was proclaimed the ...second-biggest of Jackson's "Dangerous!" World tour with an estimated 80,000 fans in attendance - and over 1,000 policemen and security-guards. Fans began to wait in line outside the park: from 8am - more than 12 hours before Jackson appeared - to try to be as close to their hero as possible. Throughout the star's stay in Israel he - and his mother who accompanied him - were followed by crowds of eager fans who kept a vigil outside both entrances to his hotel. Each concert on Jackson's tour is an enormous technological and logistical feat. Three stages and sets are transported from country to country by 4 aeroplanes and a boat; 150 tons of equipment for each set is assembled by 250 staff working day and night; two crews are based in countries abroad - one constructing the stage for the next concert and the other dismantling the stage last used.
