The realization of inclusion in schools makes a significant contribution to the development towards an inclusive society (cf. Lütje-Klose et al. 2018a, p. 9), as social practices are not only ...reproduced in schools, but also newly produced. These practices are carried on in extra- and postschool fields of action (cf. Sturm 2018b, p. 251; Powell 2016, p. 681; Budde 2012, p. 530ff.). Although the introduction of inclusion confronts the entire multi-level system of schools with the task of critically questioning existing structures, concepts, and practices and working on them in an inclusion-oriented manner (cf. Lindmeier & Lütje-Klose 2019, p. 590), the requirements in the field of action of teachers are becoming more complex. Teachers are not only responsible on the meso and micro level of the school system, but also interactively involved in the (re)production of social practices in the school practice (cf. Sturm 2018, p. 254ff.). It is up to teacher education to prepare student teachers to accept the challenge of school inclusion and to adapt traditional educational structures and contents in an inclusion-oriented way. The dissertation aims at reconstructing the knowledge that students of different teacher training programs have about inclusion-related subjunctive experiences during their studies. For this purpose, group discussions with students of special education and secondary school teaching are analyzed using the documentary method. The reconstructions provide information about how the participating student teachers anticipate and cope with inclusion as a challenge of school practice. Based on the findings, implications for the (re)orientation of educational structures and contents of teacher education are finally presented for discussion.
Die Realisierung schulischer Inklusion leistet einen wesentlichen Beitrag für die Entwicklung zu einer inklusiven Gesellschaft (vgl. Lütje-Klose et al. 2018a, S. 9), da in Schule nicht nur soziale Praktiken reproduziert, sondern auch neu hervorgebracht werden. Diese Praktiken werden in außer- und nachschulischen Handlungsfeldern weitergetragen (vgl. Sturm 2018, S. 251; Powell 2016, S. 681; Budde 2012, S. 530ff.). Zwar wird durch die Einführung von Inklusion das gesamte Mehrebenensystem Schule damit konfrontiert, bestehende Strukturen, Konzepte sowie Praktiken kritisch zu hinterfragen und inklusionsorientiert zu bearbeiten (vgl. Lindmeier & Lütje-Klose 2019, S. 590), doch findet sich eine Komplexitätsverdichtung der Anforderungen in dem Handlungsfeld von Lehrkräften. Sie sind nicht nur zugleich Verantwortungsträger*innen auf der Meso- und auf der Mikroebene des Systems Schule, sondern auch interaktiv an der (Re-)produktion sozialer Praktiken in der schulischen Handlungspraxis beteiligt (vgl. Sturm 2018, S. 254ff.). Der Lehrer*innenbildung obliegt es, Lehramtsstudierende auf die Annahme der Herausforderung schulischer Inklusion vorzubereiten und tradierte Ausbildungsstrukturen sowie -inhalte inklusionsorientiert zu adaptieren. In der Dissertation wird hier angesetzt und rekonstruiert, über welches inklusionsbezogene konjunktive Erfahrungswissen Studierende verschiedener Lehramtsstudiengänge im Verlauf des Studiums verfügen. Dazu werden Gruppendiskussionen mit Studierenden des Lehramts für Sonderpädagogik und des Lehramts an Gymnasien unter Anwendung der dokumentarischen Methode ausgewertet. Die erstellten Rekonstruktionen geben Aufschluss darüber, wie die teilnehmenden Lehramtsstudierenden Inklusion als Herausforderung der schulischen Handlungspraxis antizipieren sowie bewältigen. Auf den gewonnenen Erkenntnissen aufbauend werden abschließend Implikationen für die (Neu-)Ausrichtung von Ausbildungsstrukturen und -inhalten der Lehrer*innenbildung zur Diskussion gestellt.
Dans L’idéologie et l’utopie, Ricœur repense le rapport, hérité de Mannheim, entre ces deux concepts. L’objectif de notre contribution est de montrer que le concept d’utopie procède d’une ...reconstruction de la philosophie de l’imagination chez Ricœur dont la méthode est parente de la phénoménologie. Notre argumentation s’articule en trois temps. Dans un premier temps, notre attention se concentre sur la convergence entre Mannheim et Ricœur: l’attitude déviante par rapport à la réalité que génère l’utopie comme neutralisation, au sens phénoménologique du terme. Dans un second temps, nous insisterons sur la critique que Ricœur adresse à la sociologie de Mannheim qui privilégie la réalité au détriment de la fiction, au risque de faire disparaitre l’utopie. Enfin, sur fond de cette divergence, nous chercherons à montrer l’importance, chez Ricœur, d’une phénoménologie génétique pour repenser la place constituante de l’imagination productrice dans l’espace social.
This paper considers the social significance of digital technologies in older adults' lives by exploring the impact the web has on their lived experiences. The study of digital literacies and digital ...cultures is mostly focused on youth, thus paying limited attention to older adults' engagement with the web. With this paper, we aim to contribute to under-theorised debates of older adults' digital experiences beyond generalisations of generational and/or digital divides. Focus groups interviews with older adults enrolled in sessions on digital literacies were used to get insight into this cohort's online experiences. The findings revealed that older adults' key motivation to become digitally literate was driven by a desire of remaining relevant in a contemporary world, in other words, of cultivating their identity as active citizens in a digital society. We offer considerations and reflections on the findings through the application of the works of Karl Mannheim to the phenomenon investigated.

Dieser Artikel zeigt, dass deutsche Nachkriegskohorten sich kaum in ihren Einstellungen unterscheiden, weder in Bezug auf Lebensziele noch in Bezug auf Sorgen oder gesellschaftliches ...und politisches Engagement. Diese Kohorteneffekte werden unter Kontrolle von Alters- und Periodeneffekten mit bis zu 551.664 Beobachtungen von bis zu 76.161 Individuen des Sozio-oekonomischen Panels berechnet. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass von der Literatur postulierte Generationsunterschiede zwischen der sogenannten Generation Y, X, den Babyboomern, den ’68ern sowie der sogenannten Skeptischen Nachkriegsgeneration in Wirklichkeit kaum existieren. Weithin verbreitete Vorstellungen, wie Generationen sich in ihren Einstellungen unterscheiden, finden sich somit empirisch nicht bestätigt. Angesichts dessen sind Umfragen wie die Shell Jugendstudie wenig sinnvoll, ebenso wie eine Managementliteratur, die Ratschläge zum Umgang mit Generationenunterschieden gibt, welche empirisch nicht feststellbar sind.
It is the traumatic events that break the harmony of the world and cause an abrupt turn that devastates all areas of society. Of these, the crisis of democracy and education is one of the harshest: ...the ability of an individual to actively participate in improving his life and society is in jeopardy. Is there a way forward to build a democratic society? What are the most appropriate methods? What are the main factors that drive this process? These are the questions that K. Mannheim had formulated while witnessing devastating events of his time, and that led him to talk about reconstruction and a new form of democracy, the only form of government capable of putting the individual and the exercise of responsible freedom at the centre (Cesareo & Vaccarini 2009). Mannheim thought it was possible to drive this kind of democratic process through a. democratic planification, which fosters the human development and the participation of all but that, at the same time, guarantees people's freedom, equality, and dignity; b. democratic education, which represents the main driving factor of this process, capable to form a "new man" which knows how to live in society. The main objective of the essay, is to analyze on a theoretical level Mannheim's proposal for democracy, highlighting especially the possibility of democratic planning and the importance of education for democracy, describing the steps beyond Mannheim's analysis. The author thus helps us to understand our Europe today, the problems that afflict it and the possible solutions that contemporary scholars are trying to offer.
Muestro que la obra de Zea presenta una estructura objetiva, la "dialéctica de la utopía", la cual también constituye una forma de interpretar esa obra y un método histórico independiente de la ...misma. Para ello, tomo en cuenta toda la producción filosófica de este filósofo en el período 1940-1954, aunque centrándome en el análisis y la interpretación de tres textos clave. De esta manera, esclarezco el sentido de la ideología y la utopía en el pensamiento del filósofo mexicano y propongo un método que organiza los datos históricos con sentido progresista y sin renunciar al rigor epistemológico.
A Bertrand curve in the 4-dimensional Euclidean space is a space curve whose first normal line is the same as the first normal line of another curve. On the other hand, a Mannheim curve in the ...4-dimensional Euclidean space is a space curve whose first normal line is the same as the second or third normal line of another curve. In this paper, we investigate not only Bertrand and Mannheim curves of regular space curves, but also Bertrand and Mannheim curves of singular space curves. As singular curves, we consider framed curves. We give conditions for framed curves to become Bertrand and Mannheim curves. It is well-known that the Bertrand curves of regular curves do not exist under a condition in the 4-dimensional Euclidean space. However, even for regular curves, Bertrand curves exist as framed curves.
The article builds on a recent literature that has sought to underscore the relevance of Bourdieu's field theory for historical-sociological analysis. It draws attention to symbolic revolutions, a ...concept that has been given short shrift in this literature and even in Bourdieu's own expositions of his field-theoretical apparatus. The article argues that symbolic revolutions denote a universal mechanism of field-internal change which extends and complements a conceptual battery of mostly structural universals of fields. In a synoptic reading of Bourdieu's field-theoretical work, the article fleshes out an ideal type of symbolic revolutions, with special regard to its dialectical features. It adds further analytical purchase to the concept by highlighting continuities and parallels with the work of Thomas Kuhn and Karl Mannheim. Finally, it argues that more recent studies by other authors on transformations in the psychiatric field, the field of social and human sciences, and the political field are in fact discussing instances of symbolic revolutions. It thus shows how the concept can help identify common properties among highly heterogeneous phenomena, opening up new avenues for historical-sociological investigations that can more systematically relate the general and the particular.
