Multi-disciplinary Meetings (MDM) play a crucial role in complex patient care, involving input from various specialties to formulate evidence-based management plans. However, traditional ...unidirectional approaches and reliance on manual processes have led to inefficiencies in the MDM pathway.
This study identified and aimed to improve four critical moments where Information Communication Technologies (ICTs) could enhance the MDM process. Initial referral, information synthesis, meeting presentation and the creation of actionable/auditable items.
Microsoft Office Forms, a customisable survey platform, was implemented to streamline MDM processes. Forms were created to gather patient information, develop agendas, and track outcomes. Automation through Excel scripting further optimised data organisation and agenda creation.
Referrals using Forms takes an average of 7 min and 21 s. Over 15 months the submission time has reduced and is trending towards under 5 min for each referral. The system's scalability has allowed 1744 cases to be discussed over a 15-month period. Active departments using Forms is expanding to seven from two prior to the pilot.
Microsoft Office Forms proved to be a valuable and adaptable tool for MDMs, offering benefits such as streamlined information gathering, real-time collaboration, and scalability. The study highlights the potential of existing tools within Microsoft licenses for healthcare process optimisation, providing a cost-effective and customisable solution for MDM agendas. While recognising some limitations, the study concludes that leveraging Microsoft Office Forms can significantly improve system efficiency in a multi-disciplinary setting.
In this study, the in vitro biotransformation of nobiletin by human intestinal microbiota, which is a bioactive polymethoxyflavone widely presented in Citrus plants, has been investigated via ...utilizing an anaerobic incubation protocol. The incubation samples were detected using high‐performance liquid chromatography/quadrupole time‐of‐flight mass spectrometry. A background subtraction strategy incorporated in Microsoft Office was employed to eliminate the interferences in medium and feces. The parent and three metabolites sinensetin, 5‐hydroxy‐6,7,3′,4′‐tetramethoxyflavone, and 5‐demethylnobiletin were detected and identified based on the characteristics of their protonated molecules. The proposed metabolic pathway revealed that nobiletin went through phase I metabolism including demethylation and demethoxylation in human intestinal microbiota. The characterization of nobiletin metabolic profile transformed by human intestinal bacteria would be helpful for understanding its efficacy and action mechanism.
This article presents a two-phase study exploring the usage of technology in higher education as well as the role of the general innovativeness in predicting the actual use of technology. During the ...first phase of the study, which involved 502 staff members, a descriptive analysis of their usage of social media, technological devices, and Microsoft Office 365 cloud services was performed, with various demographic variables being considered. During the second phase, which involved a subsample of 106 staff members, structural equation modeling (SEM) was used to examine a model in which the general innovativeness and the demographic variables acted as predictors of the actualized innovativeness. The results showed that the staff used social media, devices, and cloud services quite satisfactorily. The examination of their user profiles revealed that there were significant differences among the staff members on the basis of their demographic variables, especially their gender, job type, and discipline. The results of the SEM showed that the general innovativeness contributed positively, as was expected, to predicting the adoption of devices, non-academic social networking sites and Office 365 cloud services. The results further suggested that males were early adopters of devices, while academics were early adopters of commercial services and academic social networking sites. However, the academics appeared to lag behind the administrators in terms of adopting Office 365 cloud services. The implications of the study and directions for future research are also presented.
MS Office suit software is the most widely used electronic documents by a large number of users in the world, which has absolute predominance in office software market. MS Office 2007-2013 documents, ...which use new office open extensible markup language (OOXML) format, could be illegally used as cover mediums to transmit secret information by offenders, because they do not easily arouse others suspicion. This paper proposes nine forensic methods and an integrated forensic tool for OOXML format documents on the basis of researching the potential information hiding methods. The proposed forensic methods and tool cover three categories; document structure, document content, and document format. The aim is to prevent covert communication and provide security detection technology for electronic documents downloaded by users. The proposed methods can prevent the damage of secret information embedded by offenders. Extensive experiments based on real data set demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed methods.
Objective. This paper examines ways to solve the problem of cross-language plagiarism in scientific works written in Ukrainian, which are to be translated and published in English. Considering that ...Ukrainian university libraries are directly involved in the practices of improving the level of awareness of lecturers and scientists, as well as their support of a large number of new digital tools, we draw attention to the emergence of new opportunities in the practices of supporting academic integrity. Methods. Big Data mining techniques and analysis of algorithms underlying machine translation software were employed to identify the cases of cross-language plagiarism in scientific articles originally written in the Ukrainian language. Results. Based on the analysis of 4000 translated manuscripts, it was established that the standard Microsoft Word 2022 software, typically used to write an article, identifies with a very high accuracy those parts of the text that had been earlier published and stored in a digital format. Conclusions. With the advent of Microsoft Office 365 software (released in 2022), it becomes possible to check any article originally written in Ukrainian or Russian, while being translated into English, for similarities with previously published academic papers. This allows for an instantaneous correction check that may prove useful in preventing the intended or unintended occurrence of cross-language plagiarism in scientific papers. It is advisable to more actively involve librarians of Ukrainian universities in using the powerful potential of digital support for the research activities of their users, including writing papers and checking them for signs of plagiarism.

The number of Christian Religious Education (PAK) teachers in Indonesia is not proportional to the needs of schools, so that PAK teachers in public schools must double teach at 2 or 3 schools because ...of the small number of students and the number of PAK teachers. This condition requires the role of PAK teachers to be able to utilize technology properly, one of which is to use interactive multimedia-based learning media with Microsoft office PowerPoint in delivering PAK material. The purpose of this research development is to produce interactive multimedia-based learning media on PAK subjects and Character. The development model in this research is using the ADDIE development model with a theoretical design based on five steps namely Analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, dissemination. Testing is carried out using media experts, field practitioners (material experts) and group trials small one. The subjects of the small group trial were 12 PAK students of grade 1 at SDN Waru II Sidoarjo. By using the questionnaire sheets of media experts, field practitioners (material experts) and product evaluation questionnaire by small groups. The results of the field test product development (material / content expert) are 99%, the media expert test results are 93% and the small group trial results are 91%. Kondisi ini menuntut peran guru PAK untuk dapat memanfaatkan teknologi dengan baik salah satunya adalah dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia interaktif dengan Microsoft office power point dalam menyampaikan materi PAK. Tujuan penelitian pengembangan ini adalah menghasilkan media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia interaktif pada Mapel PAK dan Budi Pekerti. Model pengembangan dalam penelitian ini yaitu memakai model pengembangan ADDIE dengan desain teori yang dilakukan berdasar lima langkah yaitu Analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi, uji cob, penyebarluasan. Uji coba yang dilakukan menggunakan ahli media, praktisi lapangan (ahli meteri) dan uji coba kelompok kecil. Subjek uji coba kelompok kecil adalah 12 siswa PAK kelas 1 SDN Waru II Sidoarjo. Dengan menggunakan lembar angket ahli media, praktisi lapangan (ahli meteri) dan angket penilaian produk oleh kelompok kecil. Hasil pengembangan produk uji Paraktisi Lapangan (ahli materi/isi) 99%, hasil uji ahli media 93% dan hasil uji coba kelompok kecil 91%. In facing an industrial revolution 4.0, teachers have to make an affective education technology. One of that is using multimedia-based interactive media with power points. The aims of this study is ...to describe the development of interactive multimedia using Microsoft Office 365 Power Point by utilizing the morph and zoom transition features as interactive multimedia. This study uses the ADDIE development model with Luther's multimedia development theory design which is based on six steps as concept, design, material collection, manufacturing, testing, and dissemination. The trials were conducted with expert trials, peer trials and small group trials. The small group trial subjects consisted of 12 grade VII students of SMP Negeri 55 Surabaya. The instrument that used was in the form of an expert trial sheet, peers and a product of eligibility questionnaire for students. The results of product development from the material expert test results obtained 97%, while the media expert test results obtained 78.1%, and for peer testing the results obtained 95%. The result percentage of the feasibility questionnaire test data was 81.33%, it was included in the excellent category. So, this interactive learning multimedia is appropriate to be used in support the learning activities of VII grade students of SMP Negeri 55 Surabaya.  Keywords: development, multimedia interactive learning, Microsoft office 365, PowerPoint, mathematics   Abstrak: Dalam menghadapi revolusi industri 4.0, guru harus membuat sebuah teknologi pembelajaran yang efektif. salah satunya menggunakan media interaktif berbasis multimedia dengan powerpoint. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan pengembangan mutlimedia interaktif menggunakan microsoft office 365 power point dengan memanfaatkan fitur transisi morph dan zoom untuk dijadikan multimedia interaktif. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE dengan desain teori pengembangan multimedia Luther yang dilakukan berdasarkan enam langkah yaitu konsep, desain, pengumpulan bahan, pembuatan, uji coba, penyebarluasan. Uji coba yang dilakukan menggunakan uji coba ahli, uji coba teman sejawat dan uji kelompok kecil. Subjek uji coba kelompok kecil terdiri dari 12 peserta didik kelas VII SMP Negeri 55 Surabaya. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar uji coba ahli, teman sejawat dan angket kelayakan produk untuk peserta didik. Hasil pengembangan produk dari data hasil uji coba ahli materi diperoleh persentase sebesar 97%, sedangkan uji coba ahli media diperoleh hasil persentase sebesar 78,1%, dan untuk uji coba teman sejawat diperoleh hasil persentase sebesar 95%. Persentase hasil data uji angket kelayakan sebesar 81,33%, angka tersebut masuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Sehingga multimedia pembelajaran interaktif ini layak digunakan untuk mendukung kegiatan pembelajaran peserta didik kelas VII SMP Negeri 55 Surabaya.  Kata Kunci: pengembangan, multimedia pembelajaran interaktif, Microsoft office 365, PowerPoint, matematika
