To store and use information in the field of metrological support, it is proposed to use databases and access as a management system that is part of the Microsoft Office. The system elements are: tables for storing data; database queries; forms for easy data entry, viewing and editing; reports for processing data in the form of a ready-made document; pages for providing access to the database from a web page; modules for automating standard operations and creating new procedures using the Visual Basic programming language. Tables are made up of columns and rows. As a basis for the simplest measuring instruments database, two interrelated tables can be used: "Measuring instruments" and "Technical characteristics". The purpose of this research is to create modules Response Surface Method (RSM) in Microsoft Excel by using Visual Basic Application programming language. Microsoft Excel has the facility to ...calculate the statistical problems. Analysis in Microsoft Excel is also relatively complete and procedure more easily and generally Microsoft Excel is available at almost any computer, as part of Microsoft Office. However, Microsoft Excel has not been able to solve problems related to this Response Surface Method. So the finishing will be the existence of a RSM modules in Microsoft Excel. Modules have been made will be applied to find the optimum conditions of membrane polyurethane (PU) in brackish water desalination process. The optimum conditions were determined by the membrane flux and percent rejection. With the RSM modules, it can be determined stationary point and the Response Surface characteristics so it can be used to determine whether the type of stationary point of maximum, minimum or saddle point.
The ecological status of the surface waters of the Lviv region is influenced by closely related various factors, namely: soil pollution, atmosphere, change of landscape structure and technogenic ...congestion of the territory, inefficient work of sewage and treatment facilities, failure of the mapping of coastal water protection and marsh, as well as their non-observance, especially in settlements, pollution and clogging of rivers with household and other wastes, trellising of forests along streams in mountainous terrain. Another important problem that leads to surface water pollution in the region is the lack of water protection zones and coastal protection strips of water bodies in the territory of the region. Absence of planning and mapping materials and uncertainty on the terrain boundaries of water protection zones and coastal protection strips lead to violations of land and water legislation when using them. At present, the state of water bodies in Ukraine, and in particular in the Lviv region is at an unsatisfactory level. The main problems in this area are the progressive nature of the negative impact on the environmental and human health. As at present there is no cartographic material that can visualize the problem of surface water pollution in Lviv region, the main purpose of this work was to create an interactive map of surface water pollution. To achieve this goal, we collected and systematized geospatial statistical mapping materials on the ecological status of the surface waters of the Lviv region. The necessary software for the development of the interactive map is identified and its possibilities are examined. An algorithm for loading geospatial data into the created web resource has been developed. The application template for the creation of web-maps of the monitoring network of the surface water of the Lviv region and the discharge of sewage for 2017–2018 in ArcGIS Online environment was selected. Thus, two interactive maps of ecological pollution of Lviv region's surface water in ArcGIS Online were developed.

Охарактеризовано електронне (дистанційне) навчання, його види, форми реалізації. Запропоновано практичний досвід використання можливостей електронного навчання в університеті. Доведено, що електронне навчання дасть можливість створити нове навчальне середовище, де студенти можуть отримати доступ до навчальних матеріалів у будь-який час та в будь-якому місці, зробить навчальний процес більш привабливим, демократичним, комфортним і стимулюватиме студентів до самоосвіти та навчання протягом усього життя. Відповідно до мети поставлено й виконано такі завдання: розглянуто інформаційно-комунікаційні технології для організації електронного навчання та виконання взаємодії між учасниками навчального процесу. Проаналізовано перший досвід практичного використання електронного навчання засобами хмарного сервісу Microsoft Office 365 працівниками Східноєвропейського національного університету імені Лесі Українки. Досліджено Microsoft Office 365, який дає можливість будь-якому навчальному закладу безкоштовно скористатися неймовірною ефективністю «хмари», допомагаючи економити час і кошти, та вивільняти цінні ресурси. Система Office 365 поєднує програмний комплекс Office й онлайн-послуги для зв’язку та спільної роботи наступного покоління Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Skype для бізнесу, Class Note, OneDrive. The paper analyzes static tests of pipe conveyors using various statistical indicators and points out the mutual interactions between individual roller stands. Individual measurements were performed ...on a physical model of a pipe conveyor, while the methodology and procedure were verified by experiments. 15 repetitions of the given series of measurements were selected, which was a compromise between time demands and statistical requirement. Normal contact forces on the individual rollers of three hexagonal roller stands acting on the conveyor belt for different tension forces in the static state (conveyor belt without movement and without transported material) were evaluated. The LabVIEW Signal Express 2010 program from the National Instruments Company was used to record the measured data. The measurements were evaluated by Microsoft Office Excel.

With a variety of project management tools available in the market, it is a demanding task to look for a tool appropriate to the needs of the organization. It is an observation by scholars and suggests project management tool users tend to read first the reviews and comments of the product before deciding on the tool they are going to implement. This study facilitates sentiment analysis which can help identify effective and efficient project management tool. Microsoft Office Project is one of the most popular and most reviewed tools for more efficient project and portfolio management. The researchers manually extracted data from various websites containing comments and reviews from different users or reviewers. Machine learning-based-approach using RapidMiner was utilized to analyze the collected data from the web reviews. Sentiment analysis from MS Project reviews was applied using supervised learning K-nearest neighbor (KNN). The first level of classification involved classifying statements as "satisfied" and "dissatisfied." The second level of classification involved clustering sentiments as cost, experience, task, support and interface. Statements classified as satisfied is greater than dissatisfied. The best features to apply when classifying the PM tool reviews dataset are using stopwords, length, stemming and trigram.
Economic Load Dispatch problems in electrical power networks have been investigated over the years and several calculation methods were introduced. Therefore, the program routines are complex to develop, while specialized commercial software packages are expensive and not easily available. On the other hand, Microsoft Excel as a part of Microsoft office software package is widely spread in the world and relatively easily available. This paper presents the design and development of Microsoft Excel based economic load dispatch analysis tool and its application for system planning and operation. Three different economic load dispatch methods, namely, Merit Order, Lambda-Iteration and Dynamic Programming methods have been implemented to provide wider choice for the users. The emphasis of this paper is on the educational value of spreadsheets in the analysis of power system.
