Abstract
The article presents a model of online system devised for the development of digital competencies of management personnel in the Arctic region. The model includes a description of the means ...and technologies allowing implementation of distance learning processes, justification of choice of digital platforms used, structure of electronic educational resources, and methodology of analysis of students’ performance based on the “digital footprint” technology. The structure of electronic educational resources is expected to provide an opportunity of use in various modes and forms of management training, basic and additional professional education, as well as online exchange of positive professional experience between the leaders of the Arctic regions. This approach us e-learning tools in the education shall increase the interest and involvement participants in various types of cognitive activities. The use of Microsoft Office 365 solution for education allows to integrate LMS Moodle with Teams communication application, which supports interactive format of communication. And the OneDrive cloud service shall allow to ensure secure storage of electronic documents and to organize online project work in teams. The statistical data of students’ performance is collected with the use of “digital footprint” technology and analyzed in order to obtain qualitative characteristics of online education process. The expected outcomes of learning will be related to the consumers’ requests. The proposed model of the training system for managers is expected to allow the practical implementation of the Life Long Learning concept, by drawing multi-component individual educational and professional development trajectories in the Arctic region subjects.
Data visualization is a growing topic of discussion and area of educational programming in health sciences libraries. This paper synthesizes information on eight institutions' experiences in offering ...Excel-focused data visualization workshops with the goal of providing an overview of the current state of educational offerings in this area.
Semi-structured interviews were conducted by phone and email with librarians at institutions that offer Excel-focused workshops, which were identified by reviewing the websites of Association of Academic Health Sciences Libraries members and the 2019 Medical Library Association annual meeting program.
Librarians from six institutions were interviewed, online class materials from one institution were reviewed, and information from the author's institution was included, resulting in a total of eight institutions. Educational offerings in Excel-focused data visualization ranged from one workshop to five workshops in a series, which typically first presented information for beginners and then progressed to more advanced data visualization skills. Regarding motivations for offering these workshops, librarians stated that they were committed to providing instruction in software programs that were already familiar to users. Workshop evaluations, when available, were generally positive.
Because of its widespread availability and usage, Excel offers a compelling opportunity for providing hands-on data visualization instruction in health sciences libraries.
Abstract
Utilization of the internet in patisseries learning is not optimal yet, the use of media in learning is not entirely interesting and varied, task collection and evaluation of learning ...outcomes are still print-based, one of the difficulties associated with technical issues is understanding the material and collecting assignments. These three factors are the background of the learning management system in the implementation of hybrid learning based patisseries. Learning Management System is one way to develop online learning or e-learning, which is a web-based learning management application that facilitates learners to learn as they should in a virtual classroom. The Learning Management System used in this study is a Web-based Learning Management System that is available at https://spot.upi.edu/. The design of the Learning Management System model in Patisserie learning is useful to assist in the teaching and learning process. Learning programs based on the use of internet technology (online) that can be done without the limitation of space and time ‘any time anywhere’. This Learning Management System application model, made based on the web, with the aim to enable lecturers and students who become the user model of this application, to access learning plans and learning material through the internet wherever they are. Supporting facilities in the form of network and network server at UPI have reached 800 Mbps, then from the SPOT process aspects using licensed software namely Microsoft Office and hardware +-970 with the core 2 processor, P4 flat slim monitor. In addition to accessing learning material, this learning management system helps users to be able to discuss topics by on-line using the forum provided. This study aims to develop a hybrid learning based learning management system for the readiness of students’ competency test.
There were many factors that influence the volume of forest carting out. They were divided into managed and unmanaged. The human impact on unmanaged factors was minimized. These included the natural ...and climatic conditions under which the wood carting out took place. However, these factors were among the most significant, especially in Siberia, in sharply continental conditions. The purpose of this study was to assess the influence of natural and climatic factors on forest carting out using the mathematical tool. For research data were collected on the volume of daily carting out of wood from forest areas for several years in the winter time. For the same dates, information was collected on climatic conditions: air humidity; wind speed; type of precipitation; precipitation duration; maximum air temperature; minimum air temperature; amount of precipitation; visibility range; snow depth. Multivariate analysis was performed using the Microsoft Office Excel software product, as well as controlling calculations in the Statistica 10.0 statistical product. As a result, the linear multiple regression equation was obtained.
Rice is the main food source for most of the population in Maros regency. Maros regency is one of the rice producing district in South Sulawesi, but has experienced a very intensive conversion of ...agricultural land to infrastructure development compared to other regency in the province of South Sulawesi. This will lead to a decrease in production, which will have an impact on food security in the future. In addition to increasing the amount of rice production, an analysis of rice food requirements in Maros regency is also needed. Therefore, research and projection on the production and consumption of rice in Maros regency is needed in the future. With this projection, we can estimate the quantity of rice available in Maros regency. This research aims to determine the estimated quantity of rice production and consumption in Maros regency from 2019 to 2023. The data used in this research are secondary data, time series for the period 2007-2018. This research was a descriptive qualitative and quantitative research. Data processing in this research using software Minitab 17 and Microsoft Office Excel. The analysis showed that the development of production in Maros regency from 2019 to 2023 has increased every year. The forecast result showed, Maros regency has a surplus of rice in 2019 as big as 247,395 ton up to 2020 as big as 284,168 ton. While rice consumption in Maros regency in 2019 as big as 33,569 ton and 2023 as big as 32,106 ton.

The Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR) is a national initiative to record academic and extra-curricular achievement throughout a student's time at university. The Library and Learning ...Resources training team's pre-existing employability-focused content included a lecture on social media and digital footprint, and the Microsoft Office Specialist award. In response to London South Bank University's introduction of the HEAR, the training team developed a pilot program of workshops with a focus on employability and social media. The training team created formal assessments, which is a requirement of the HEAR. A literature review revealed a focus on transferable and soft skills. The pilot focused on developing skills that enabled students to create a professional online presence. Linking information literacy and digital literacy training to employability encouraged student participation. A recommendation of this case study is for libraries to consider the development of explicitly linked employability workshops alongside the more traditional bibliographic tools and skills provision.
