Today all universities of Ukraine are characterized by increasing students' independent workload involving modern information technology. One of the areas of self-learning is the use of cloud ...technology in the educational process. Attractive offers for universities are provided by Microsoft and Google option of educational use of cloud services Microsoft Office 365 and Google Apps for Education. The use of these services will provide more tools that make a real learning process easier, more accessible and interesting. Such a project started on December 1, 2016 in Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University. It is a portal based on Microsoft cloud technology and software Office. As the benefits of the project, users of the university portal (registered students and teachers) will be able to share and work on documents, create special websites for specific user groups, leadership and participation in joint research projects, exchange instant messages between users of web conferencing, lectures and seminars remotely, the use of simulators, email with enhanced features, and install the appropriate software on their personal devices for communication with the portal from any user-friendly place. Consequently, the introduction of cloud technologies in Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University aims to primarily facilitate the students' learning process. We can summarize that the benefits for students' individual work using information technologies in educational process are as follows: free and permanent access to materials from any place convenient and any personal device connected to the Internet; reducing the time for searching the necessary educational documents and materials for independent preparation for classes, practical tasks, term papers, research projects; opportunity to participate in research projects and work on the task of an individual student and the group under the guidance of a teacher or project manager; the ability to create student's personal space from blogging to discuss specific themes; controlling access to documents. To conclude, the use of modern information technology in the organization of students' independent work contributes effectively to the formation of professional skills of future specialists.
The article presents the results of development and testing of new computer program for calculating functional meat products based on Microsoft Office Excel 2010. The paper describes methodology of ...its creation, including method and formulas of calculation, presentation type of input data and calculation results, as well as possibility of increasing accuracy and efficiency of optimization when using programs of this type. The necessity of developing software for optimizing functional food products, based on a full search algorithm, is substantiated. The ways of using the program and ways of its further development are presented. The key advantages and disadvantages of using the created computer program are identified. The computer program at the end of its work provides the user a list of formulations optimized according to the general optimality criterion, which is an undeniable advantage. This is important because it is very difficult to predict organoleptic indicators at the current level of technological development. It was revealed that in the current form, amount of computing a computer program directly depends on the size of database used. An idea of identifying a logical function that organoleptic properties with respect to parameters of raw materials in a recipe is proposed.

Contemporary information technologies and mathematical modelling has made creating corpora of natural languages significantly easier. A corpus is an information and reference system based on a ...collection of digitally processed texts. A corpus includes various written and oral texts in the given language, a set of dictionaries and markup – information on the properties of the text. It is the presence of the markup which distinguishes a corpus from an electronic library. At the moment, national corpora are being set up for many languages of the Russian Federation, including those of the Turkic peoples. Faculty members, postgraduate and undergraduate students at Tuvan State University and Siberian Federal University are working on the National corpus of Tuvan language. This article describes the structure of a dictionary entry in the National corpus of Tuvan language. The corpus database comprises the following tables: MAIN – the headword table, RUS, ENG, GER — translations of the headword into three languages, MORPHOLOGY — the table containing morphological data on the headword. The database is built in Microsoft Office Access. Working with the corpus dictionary includes the following functions: adding, editing and removing an entry, entry search (with transcription), setting and visualizing morphological features of a headword. The project allows us to view the corpus dictionary as a multi-structure entity with a complex hierarchical structure and a dictionary entry as its key component. The corpus dictionary we developed can be used for studying Tuvan language in its pronunciation, orthography and word analysis, as well as for searching for words and collocations in the texts included into the corpus.
Purpose
– The purpose of this study was to understand the knowledge sharing in projects based on knowledge flow patterns. The impact of attrition, thereby leading to a loss of tacit knowledge, ...inability to capture and reuse knowledge and inability to understand the knowledge flow patterns, which leads to lack of structured workspace collaboration, are frequently faced challenges in organizations. The change in knowledge sourcing behaviors by the current generation workforce has a high reaching impact in driving collaboration among employees.
Design/methodology/approach
– This paper attempts to study this impact and identify means to improve the effectiveness of collective knowledge sharing via social computing platforms. As part of this study, customized solutions are devised based on knowledge flow patterns prevalent in teams. Knowledge network analysis (KNA), a socio-metric analysis, is performed to understand knowledge flow patterns among employees in a team which helps understand the relationships between team members with respect to knowledge sharing. KNA helps in understanding ties and interactions between human and system resources.
Findings
– Significant changes were observed in knowledge sourcing and sharing behaviors. Capture of the tacit knowledge of employees further resulted in reducing the impact of knowledge attrition. For instance, targeted communities of practice (CoPs) based on the presence of cliques within teams enabled teams to complete projects effectively and efficiently.
Practical implications
– The results are used to identify push and pull networks to enable effective knowledge management (KM). Results of this study reveal that analyzing knowledge flow patterns in a team and deploying a customized social computing platform that is tailored to address the needs of specific knowledge flow patterns within that team, significantly enhances collaborative sharing as opposed to a standardized “one-size-fits-all” platform.
Originality/value
– This paper is an original creation after research by the authors for a continuous assessment of KM within the organization.

Tujuan dari pegabdian ini meningkatkan profesionalitas seorang pendidik dalam bidang Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian terdiri dari metode 2 (dua) pendekatan yaitu pendekatan edukatif yang fokus kepada mitra pengabdian dan tim pengbadian serta pendekatan partisipatif adanya kegiatan dalam penyusunan program, implementasi program dan evaluasi kegiatan. Dari hasil pelaksanaan pengabdian ini, terlihat perubahan yang signifikan terhadap wawasan dan ilmu pengetahuan yang didapat oleh para mitra pengabdian yaitu memberikan dampak adanya peningkatan dan kemampuan dalam penggunaan Microsoft Office.
South African public hospitals are faced with many challenges comprising inefficient processes, lack of digitalisation, severe austerity measures, and the rising burden of disease. Irrespective of ...the many existing initiatives in place, a critical challenge is the shortage of necessary resources required to fund, implement, and sustain new interventions. This deprives public hospitals from the efficiencies and quality of service experienced in private hospitals or other business entities. Through a case study strategy, this paper has ed two practice contributions. First, it describes and prescribes a low‐cost approach in which business process redesign was applied in a public hospital through a partnership between the hospital and a higher learning institution. The initiative involved third year students majoring in Information Systems performing, as part of their class project, process analysis at the hospital at no cost to the hospital other than their employees' time. The second contribution is a priority list of redesign and lean management principles that were ed from these initiatives. These include improving staff training, distributing and adhering to up‐to‐date standard operating procedures, performing tasks in parallel rather than in series, reducing handovers by avoiding certain tasks, incentivizing use of existing mobile software by doctors, developing low‐cost task automation solutions such as Microsoft Office applications, redesigning and standardizing forms, capturing data at source electronically rather than later, redesigning physical spaces, and improved key performance indicators and reporting. The study confirms the usefulness of this collaborative business process redesign approach for public hospitals as stakeholders got relevant information and practical, low‐cost, creative solutions with the potential to improve efficiencies and subsequently service delivery.
Pelatihan Pemanfaatan Microsoft Office untuk meningkatkan keterampilan komputer bagi Aparatur Desa dan Pengurus Karang Taruna Desa Giri Kusuma merupakan sebuah program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ...yang bertujuan untuk membantu aparat desa dan pengurus karang taruna di Desa Giri Kusuma agar dapat mengelola kegiatan administrasi desa dengan lebih baik. Saat ini, tidak semua aparat desa dan pengurus karang taruna memiliki keterampilan yang memadai dalam penggunaan Microsoft Office. Banyak dari mereka masih mengalami kesulitan dalam mengoperasikan perangkat lunak seperti Microsoft Word dan Excel. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan di Aula Pertemuan Kantor Desa Girikusuma Kecamatan Malangke, Kabupaten Luwu Utara pada tanggal 20-22 Juni 2022. Persiapan program meliputi perencanaan kegiatan, penentuan tujuan dan sasaran, identifikasi dan analisis masalah atau kebutuhan, pemilihan tim, koordinasi dengan pihak terkait, persiapan sumber daya yang dibutuhkan, serta pembuatan jadwal pelaksanaan, metode evaluasi, dan penyusunan laporan akhir. Tahapan pelaksanaan program dilakukan secara tatap muka yang diawali dengan pembukaan oleh kepala desa, pemaparan materi, diskusi, serta pendampingan pelatihan untuk praktik. Diharapkan dengan program ini, peserta dapat memanfaatkan kemampuan dan keterampilan yang telah dipelajari selama pelatihan serta mengaplikasikannya secara langsung dalam tugas-tugas administratif di desa.
Kemajuan informasi dan teknologi menuntut sebuah kewajiban pada penguasaan ilmu di bidang teknologi informasi untuk menghadapi era globalisasi ini. Tidak kurangnya dalam bidang pendidikan. SMA Negeri ...31 Maluku Tengah merupakan Sekolah yang sudah di fasilitasi dengan bantuan laboratorium komputer namun karena belum adanya pelatihan yang mendalam dari operator laboratorium maka pemanfaatan komputer bagi siswa-siswi baru pada tahap pengenalan ikon-ikon komputer. Untuk itu tujuan dari kegiatan pelatihan ini yakni memberikan pendampingan untuk para Siswa dari mengenal, pengoperasian, sampai pada tahap menggunakan program Microsoft Word untuk pembuatan dokumen administrasi. Tahapan pelatihan dimulai dari pemaparan materi Microsoft Word oleh pemateri, praktikum oleh peserta sesuai materi yang sampaikan, studi kasus diberikan oleh pemateri untuk evaluasi keberhasilan. Hasil dari pelatihan Microsoft Word ini siswa–siswi peserta pelatihan dapat mengenal ikon-ikon Microsoft Word serta fungsi nya, dan 65% peserta mampu menyelesaikan pembuatan dokumen surat menggunakan program Microsoft Word sesuai format yang diberikan oleh pemateri sebagai bahan evaluasi. Dari kegiatan pelatihan yang telah dilaksanakan diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi pengetahuan serta dapat membantu para Siswa menyelesaikan pembuatan dokumen secara komputerisasi.
