The study presents phytosociological and ecological data from azonal black alder forest sites in the southern part of central Slovakia. A data set of 29 relevés was collected by authors in vegetation ...season 2010 following the standard Braun-Blanquet approach. Numerical classification was performed to delimit the main vegetation types, while statistical analyses were applied to explain the vegetation-environmental relationships. Three associations within two classes were distinguished using a TWINSPAN algorithm. Carici elongatae-Alnetum glutinosae Schwickerath 1933 is an alder carr forest occurring on waterlogged soils in spring fed areas and alluvial zones along rivers. Carici acutiformis-Alnetum glutinosae Scamoni 1933 represents an alder carr forest on habitats with stagnant or slowly flowing water along water courses and artificial water reservoirs. Mesic to humid stands along small brooks are typical for the riparian alder vegetation of Stellario-Alnetum glutinosae Lohmeyer 1957. A detailed description of the floristic and ecological features of these associations is presented. The major environmental gradients affecting variation in species composition of these communities were interpreted as a response of vegetation to soil moisture and nutrient availability regarding the Ellenberg indicator values (moisture and nutrients) and measured variables (total N and C).
V članku so predstavljeni fitosociološki in ekološki podatki iz azonalnih gozdov črne jelše v južnem delu osrednje Slovaške. V vegetacijskem obdobju leta 2010 smo naredili 29 popisov po standardni Braun-Blanquetovi metodi. Z numerično klasifikacijo smo opredelili glavne vegetacijske tipe, s statističnimi metodami pa pojasnili povezavo med vegetacijo in okoljskimi dejavniki. Z algoritmom TWINSPAN smo ločili tri asociacije znotraj dveh razredov. V asociacijo Carici elongatae-Alnetum glutinosae Schwickerath 1933 uvrščamo jelševe greze na rastiščih z visoko talno vodo ob potokih in na aluvialnih ravninah ob rekah. Asociacija Carici acutiformis-Alnetum glutinosae Scamoni 1933 predstavlja jelševe gozdove na rastiščih z zastajajočo ali počasi tekočo vodo ob vodotokih in umetnih vodnih telesih. Mezofilni do vlažni sestoji ob majhnih potokih so značilni za asociacijo Stellario-Alnetum glutinosae Lohmeyer 1957. V članku so podrobno opisane floristična sestava in rastiščne značilnosti teh asociacij. Glavni ekološki gradienti, ki se kažejo v vrstni sestavi, so talna vlaga in hranila. Med Ellenbergovimi indikatorskimi vrednostmi sta to vlažnost in hranila, med merjenimi spremenljivkami pa skupni N in C.
Research of macrophyte vegetation of the artificial water reservoirs was carried out during the vegetation season of 2008 in the Krupinská planina Mts. (southern part of central Slovakia). Twenty-one ...reservoirs were studied and twenty plant communities from the Lemnetea, Potametea and Phragmito-Magnocaricetea classes were found. Potametum acutifolii is a new aquatic community for the territory of Slovakia that was found in the reservoir near Hrušov village in intermediately deep, slightly alkaline water with a relatively low content of soluble mineral matters, a high water transparency and a silt-clay sediment on the bottom. Moisture was the main environmental gradient of the studied vegetation explained by Ellenberg's indicator values. Species richness was significantly negatively correlated with water depth. The correlation between the area of reservoirs and the number of detected plant communities was weak and non-significant. Changes of macrophyte vegetation were studied on the case of three reservoirs. Detected changes were caused mainly by human activities or water level fluctuations within the studied period.
Raziskave makrofitske vegetacije umetnih vodnih smo izvedli v vegetacijski sezoni leta 2008 v hribovju Krupinská planina (južni del osrednje Slovaške). Raziskali smo enaindvajset vodnih teles in našli dvaindvajset rastlinskih združb iz razredov Lemnetea, Potametea in Phragmito-Magnocaricetea. Asociacija Potametum acutifolii je nova vodna rastlinska združba, najdena na ozemlju Slovaške. Našli smo jo v vodnem telesu blizu vasi Hrušov v srednjegloboki, rahlo alkalni vodi z razmeroma nizko vsebnostjo raztopljenih mineralnih snovi, z visoko vodno prepustnostjo in muljasto-glineno usedlino na dnu. Glavni okoljski gradient obravnavane vegetacije, kot kažejo Ellenbergove indikacijske vrednosti, je vlažnost. Število vrste je v negativni odvisnosti z globino vode. Korelacija med površino vodnega telesa in številom najdenih rastlinskih združb je bila nizka in ni bila značilna. Spremembe makrofitske vegetacije smo proučevali v treh vodnih zbiralnikih. Opažene spremembe so posledica predvsem človeških dejavnosti ali nihanja vodnega nivoja v obravnavanem obdobju.
The following paper reports the results of phytosociological research of tall-herb and tall-herb plant communities within the class Mulgedio-Aconitetea in the subalpine belt of the Krivánska Malá ...Fatra Mts. The data set of 209 relevés was sampled and analysed using numerical classification and ordination. Major ecological gradients were interpreted using Ellenberg's indicator values and the Shannon-Wiener diversity index. Ten associations within five alliances were distinguished and characterised: Aconitetum firmi, Digitali ambiguae-Calamagrostietum arundinaceae, Helianthemo grandiflorae-Calamagrostietum arundinaceae, Potentillo aurei-Calamagrostietum arundinaceae, Allio victorialis-Calamagrostietum villosae, Festucetum carpaticae, Adenostylo alliariae-Athyrietum alpestris, Aconito firmi-Adenostyletum alliariae, Geranio robertiani-Delphinietum elati and Aconito firmi-Rumicetum alpini. Relationships between the floristic composition of the communities and environmental variables were analysed by canonical correspondence analysis.
V članku so prikazani rezultati fitocenološke raziskave rastlinskih združb visokih steblik in trav razreda Mulgedio-Aconitetea v subalpinskem pasu gorovja Krivánska Malá Fatra. Podatkovni niz sestavlja 209 popisov, ki smo jih analizirali z numerično klasifikacijo in ordinacijo. Glavne ekološke gradiente smo interpretirali z Ellenbergovimi indikacijskimi vrednostmi in Shannon-Wienerjevim indeksom diverzitete. Ločili smo deset asociacij znotraj petih zvez in jih opisali: Aconitetum firmi, Digitali ambiguae-Calamagrostietum arundinaceae, Helianthemo grandiflorae-Calamagrostietum arundinaceae, Potentillo aurei-Calamagrostietum arundinaceae, Allio victorialis-Calamagrostietum villosae, Festucetum carpaticae, Adenostylo alliariae-Athyrietum alpestris, Aconito firmi-Adenostyletum alliariae, Geranio robertiani-Delphinietum elati in Aconito firmi-Rumicetum alpini. Povezavo med vrstno sestavo rastlinskih združb in rastiščnimi dejavniki smo analizirali s kanonično korespondenčno analizo.
