Abstract
In this paper, we define direct product of finite intuitionistic fuzzy normed normal subrings and investigate relevant properties. We also provide some essential operations specially subset, ...complement and intersection related to direct product of finite intuitionistic fuzzy normed normal subrings. Then we generalize the relation between the intuitionistic characteristic function and direct product of finite intuitionistic fuzzy normed normal subrings. Finally, we construct many fundamental properties which characteristic direct product of finite intuitionistic fuzzy normed normal subrings.
This paper describes the application of the couples method and of characteristic functions when calculating purification systems of cooling lubricants. There are main mathematical models for ...calculating the characteristic function and statistical couples described.
In the mid 1960s, Rothaus proposed the so-called “most general for” of constructing new bent functions by using three (initial) bent functions whose sum is again bent. In this paper, we utilize a ...special case of Rothaus construction when two of these three bent functions differ by a suitably chosen characteristic function of an n/2-dimensional subspace. This simplification allows us to treat the induced bent conditions more easily, also implying the possibility to specify the initial functions in the partial spread class and most notably to identify several instances of the so-called non-normal bent functions. Affine inequivalent bent functions within this class are then identified using a suitable selection of initial bent functions within the partial spread class (stemming from the complete Desarguesian spread). It is also shown that when the initial bent functions belong to the class D, then, under certain conditions, the constructed functions provably do not belong to the completed Maiorana-McFarland class. We conjecture that our method potentially generates an infinite class of non-normal bent functions (all tested ten-variable functions are non-normal but unfortunately they are weakly normal) though there are no efficient computational tools for confirming this.
Multiple sampling plan (MSP) has been proved that the sample units required for inspection at each stage are usually smaller than the conventional single or double sampling. However, it is more ...complex to administer and difficult to derive the corresponding operating characteristic function since the judgment on the submitted lot under the MSP is not only dependent on the result of current sampling but also on previous sampling results. Thus, this paper attempts to provide a relaxed type of conventional MSP by assuming the sampling inspection at each stage is independent which is called variables stage-independent multiple sampling plan and integrated with the most widely-used process capability index C

. For the cost-efficient purpose, the plan parameters are solved under an optimisation model that minimises the average sample number by satisfying the required quality levels and tolerated risks. Finally, the applicability of the proposed plan is illustrated in a case study.
The class of infinitely divisible exponential distribution is determined by property of Levy measure from its canonical representation of characteristic functions. Levy measure of the exponential ...distribution is obtained belonging to a class of completely monotones and measurable function. The class of this Levy measure is governed from exponential distribution similarly to the class of Thorin.

We introduce two new measures for the dependence of n ≥ 2 random variables: distance multivariance and total distance multivariance. Both measures are based on the weighted L²-distance of quantities ...related to the characteristic functions of the underlying random variables. These extend distance covariance (introduced by Székely, Rizzo and Bakirov) from pairs of random variables to n-tuplets of random variables. We show that total distance multivariance can be used to detect the independence of n random variables and has a simple finite-sample representation in terms of distance matrices of the sample points, where distance is measured by a continuous negative definite function. Under some mild moment conditions, this leads to a test for independence of multiple random vectors which is consistent against all alternatives.
New hardware security threats are emerging, meanwhile detection and recognition technologies are immature for unknown types. This paper introduces a relation matrix to analysis perniciousness of IC ...hardware Trojan. The relation matrix is based on characteristic deployment includes concealment of trigger and harmfulness of payload. Results of this paper can be used to measure the perniciousness of different types of hardware Trojan, also provide a way to predict new hardware threats, in this way help to defend unknown hardware attacks and improve detection efficiency.
In this article, a new stochastic approach is proposed for the analysis of structural systems with uncertainties. This novel strategy method combines the probability transformation method, expressed ...in terms of characteristic function with a probabilistic version of the Taylor expansion. Some notes about the convergence and the accuracy of the proposed method are reported. The results of these notes and several examples here reported evidence an optimum level of accuracy, coupled with great simplicity of application of this approach, even for relatively high levels of uncertainties. Hence, this method can be considered a valuable tool for the solution of stochastic analyses of engineering systems. Several examples are performed to show the capability of the results established. These applications show how the method is a useful technique for engineering analysis.
