Infantile cerebral palsy is one of the most prevalent diseases and the most frequent cause of disability in paediatrics. Children with cerebral palsy have complex health care needs and often require the care of a multidisciplinary team. However, in many cases there is no paediatrician with overall responsibility for coordinating follow-up.
We have produced a support document intended for paediatricians coordinating the care of children with cerebral palsy. Our aim is to provide an ordered compilation of the main issues these patients may develop, to know how to identify and address them if necessary, and to establish criteria for referring these patients to other specialists.
In the context of growing land pressure, new uses are projected on contaminated soils. In order to inform a comprehensive health assessment of gardening activities on contaminated land, this work ...aims to synthesise both quantitative and qualitative findings on the links between gardening, health, and well-being, taking gardeners’ motivations and practices into account.
A rapid overview of reviews was conducted following PRISMA guidelines. Both therapeutic and commercial gardening were excluded, as was data from developing countries. Reviews describing at least one link between leisure gardening and health or well-being were included. Pubmed and Web of Science were searched for reviews published up to February 2023. The results were summarised in the form of a conceptual model, to support a comprehensive assessment of the links between health and gardening.
Gardening has been shown to impact i) quality of the environment through supporting and providing ecosystem services and raised ecological awareness, ii) mental well-being through stress relief, positive affect and the provision of meaning and purpose, iii) social capital through increased and stronger relationships, iv) physical activity through enjoyable, low-to- moderate-intensity activities, v) diet through improved food literacy and access to fruit and vegetables, and vi) (potentially) economic status through food savings. Gardening is associated with lower Body Mass Index (BMI) and better self-reported health. Evidence on other health indicators is too scarce for conclusions to be drawn. We propose a framework aggregating these results.
As a health-oriented review of reviews, some data may be missing as a result of topic classification or loss from duplicate removal. Some health determinants and contexts are less well documented; caution is needed when addressing these specific issues. Despite these limitations, the evidence gathered is sufficient to support an assessment of the health benefits of leisure gardening.
In current conflicts, the terrorist networks already represent a major player and the terrorist threats remain highly topical. In the physiognomy of the actions of the forces engaged in ...counter-terrorism operations offfensive actions must prevail, but there will be situations in which the military forces will have to undertake defensive actions aswell, because the neutralization of the terrorist entities does not necessarily mean removal of their infrastructure. The operations against terrorism require, for the military structures present in theaters, the review and reconsideration of their own tasks, forms and methods of action, profound transformation of the adopted strategies, a multi-dimensional vision on the effects to be achieved, a comprehensive approach to planning operations, that will help the management of the situations and achievement of the desired end state.

Objective
: to trace the development trajectory of legal regulation in the field of artificial intelligence in the People’s Republic of China by revealing the advantages and disadvantages of China’s ...approach to artificial intelligence regulation and to outline the prospects of national regulation for the nearest future, taking into account the world experience.
Methods
: general scientific methods of analysis and synthesis, classification, systemic and functional approaches. Also, the formal-legal, comparativelegal, and historical-legal methods were used.
Results
: the research demonstrates the validity of Chinese claims for world leadership in the creation of legal regulation of artificial intelligence, as it is in China that the first normative legal acts were adopted. These acts have already entered into force; however, each of them deals with a narrow range of issues, while there is no law to establish general rules for the artificial intelligence industry. Among the characteristic features of the Chinese approach we can name, first of all, its iterative nature, which allows adjusting the regulation with each new step. Another feature is the sectoral nature of the regulation.
Scientific novelty
: in the course of the research, the development stages of artificial intelligence legal regulation in China were identified and described; the advantages and disadvantages of the Chinese approach to regulation were identified and argued; this approach was compared with the approaches of China’s main rivals competing with it in terms of the technology development and its legal regulation. All of the above allowed making conclusions about the subsequent development of legal regulation in China and in the whole world.
Practical significance
: familiarization with the research materials enables interested legal scholars, and not only them, to get a clear idea of the level of artificial intelligence regulation, achieved by China. China’s experience is of significant interest to the rest of the world, showing the correctness or faults of possible regulatory options in the new and complex field. The study results can be used in the practice of legal regulation in the sphere of artificial intelligence, as well as in preparing lectures in the relevant courses and writing tutorials for law students.
This article presents a unique framework that combines insights from neuroscience with clinical assessment to evaluate individuals who have co-occurring alcohol use disorder, anxiety, and trauma. ...Through the use of a case study, the authors demonstrate the practical application of this framework and contextualize the relevant neurocircuitry associated with alcohol withdrawal, maladaptive fear and anxiety, and chronic stress. By integrating these perspectives, they provide a comprehensive approach for assessing and treating patients with complex psychiatric histories, particularly those presenting with anxiety symptoms, offering valuable insights for practitioners.
The use of smart devices to obtain real-time data has notably increased in the context of training. These technological tools provide data which monitor the external load and technical-tactical ...actions related to psychological and physical health in junior tennis players. The purpose of this paper is to monitor technical-tactical actions and physical activity during a current tennis competition in the Green stage using a Zepp Tennis Smart Sensor 2. The participants were 20 junior tennis players (under 10 years of age), with an average age of 9.46 years. The total number of strokes (n= 21,477) during 75 matches was analyzed. The study variables were the following aspects: (a) number of strokes, (b) ball impact in the sweet spot; (c) racket speed; (d) ball spin; (e) calories burned; and (f) match time. The current system of competition, based on knockout, does not meet the World Health Organization's recommendations for daily physical activity time. Players mainly used flat forehands with a lack of variability in technical-tactical actions which did not meet the current learning opportunity criteria of comprehensive methodologies. The competition system in under-11 tennis should be adapted to the players' characteristics by improving the variability and quantity of practice.
The objective of this article is to identify prevention actions carried out by stakeholders in a large post-secondary educational institution in Quebec and to understand their opinions about what ...form integrated prevention should take in coordinating prevention measures. A total of 21 interviews were conducted during ergonomic investigations. We met with four stakeholders – the occupational health and safety (OHS) department, the disability management department, union members, and department managers. The prevention measures reported by these stakeholders at the primary, secondary, and tertiary levels are presented, and the stakeholders’ portrayals of integrated prevention are documented. Given the safety-oriented OHS structure, the measures were also classified according to categories used in the OHS field. The analysis made it possible to consider the actions taken in terms of transformation goals, that is, with regard to the individual or the work environment. Definitions of prevention levels, depictions of integrated prevention, the OHS approach put forward in the institution, as well as measures to prevent health problems with multifactorial sources (e.g., musculoskeletal and mental) are discussed.
The integration, coordination and synchronization of operations, missions and activities in the cyber space with those in the operational environment represent a significant challenge. The priority ...of the military operations is the accomplishment of the mission and in order for the cyber space to contribute to this purpose, a change of paradigm in the military thinking is necessary. From this perspective, the clarification of the terminological terminology is indispensable, especially in a domain that generates such different interpretations and reactions as those in the cyber field.
