This article demonstrates how language revitalization through Indigenous Mexican hip hop can continue to Indigenize decolonial pedagogical spaces, help strengthen Black/Indigenous solidarity, and aid ...in building the infrastructures for Indigenous futures. First, I assert that using and transmitting Indigenous languages through hip hop can challenge Eurocentric pedagogy by engaging in decolonial and public pedagogies. Drawing on Jennifer Wemigwans' theorization around 'digital bundles,' I define Indigenous YouTube videos as a distinctly Indigenous space to disseminate knowledge. Then, I argue that Indigenous language use in hip hop strengthens Black/Indigenous solidarity by engaging T. Roberts' discussion on modes of appropriation and Beverley Diamond's 'Alliance Studies.' Focusing on the commonalities between oral traditions, Indigenous language hip hop uses technology and citational practices to mediate between tradition and modernity. Finally, I contend hip hop language revitalization builds the infrastructure for Indigenous futures. Expanding on Indigenous modernity scholarship, I propose an Indigenous hip hop futurism that might allow us to think of other Indigenous issues, not just the need for language revitalization, through the lens of hip hop.
El siguiente artículo se propone realizar una lectura de una de las novelas más representativas de Rosa Arciniega en su estancia en España desde 1928 a 1936, Mosko-Strom. El torbellino de las grandes ...metrópolis (1933). Por medio del análisis de la obra se reflexionará en torno a la posición crítica que desarrolla la autora respecto al proceso de maquinización que experimenta occidente en las primeras décadas del siglo XX, en el cual el futurismo, como ideología, desempeña un rol muy importante. Para realizar dicha crítica, Arciniega elabora una distopía en la que presenta los efectos negativos de dicha maquinización. Lo interesante del texto es que no solo se hace referencia a este negativo estado de cosas, sino que se plantea una solución para resolverlo. En este sentido, Mosko-Strom se constituye en una novela de tesis.

Background
The future of nursing in Western countries will soon be linked with the emergence of robotics for efficient and cost‐effective provision of fundamental care. Their emergence and roles with care of the body and more broadly assisting people with their daily living activities has enormous implications for the profession and health care. Despite this importance, how nursing understands and will respond to technological trends and developments is insufficiently reflected in the professions discourse.

Literature from nursing fundamentals of care/fundamental care, information science, technology, humanities and philosophy informed the arguments in this article.
Conclusions
This article examines the intersection of futurism and the fundamentals of care, and how adopting an anticipatory and posthuman perspective towards technological‐care integration is necessary amidst a robot revolution in the techno‐era.
Relevance to clinical practice
Nurses are currently challenged to understand, prioritise and deliver fundamental care. Health systems are challenged by a lack of care predicated by shortfalls in skilled staff and deficiencies in staff mobilisation. Both challenges can be compounded or alleviated by further integration of technology, but to maximise benefit requires forethought and understanding. This article can help open needed dialogue around planning for the future and is a call to action for the nursing profession to conceptualise its position on exponential technological growth and fundamental care provision.
Under the umbrella of what Brittney Cooper calls “progressive feminist visions,” this article reads Solange’s 2017 essay (“A Letter to My Teenage Self”) and her 2016 album (
) as part of a Black ...feminist agenda to unfetter and embolden Black women to affirm their voices, visions, and knowledge(s). In doing this work, Solange makes visible how said voices, visions, and knowledge(s) are not only meaningful but also transformative. “Trust in these words” opens by establishing Solange’s work as progressive feminist visions. It then moves into an analysis of the role of vision and voice in crafting new ways of being and becoming as represented in the epistolary essay, “A Letter to My Teenage Self” and the album
. The study closes by reflecting on how Solange’s work can be seen as Black feminist epistemologies that allow us to amplify Black women’s humanity.
AI Amok (2020), directed by Yu Irie, offers an incisive exploration of artificial intelligence’s role in a near-future Japanese society and is set in the year 2030. Employing the analytical framework ...provided by Bordwell and Thompson’s Film Art: An Introduction, this research explores the film’s narrative construction, visual storytelling techniques, and its thematic depth, particularly focusing on the portrayal and implications of artificial intelligence. Distinct from the often distant futures depicted in science fiction cinema, AI Amok presents a vision of the future that mirrors current technological trajectories, especially in healthcare and urban development. This stands in contrast to films like Blade Runner 2049 (2017) and Her (2013), which envision more abstract futures. AI Amok thus distinguishes itself through a narrative that integrates AI into societal fabrics, confronting the ethical quandaries this integration elicits. The analysis reveals a scenario that feels immediate and tangible, offering a credible sight into the technological advancements and challenges of the near future. Moreover, the study highlights AI Amok’s nuanced depiction of AI’s roles within healthcare and government, suggesting a reflection on and projection of these technologies’ evolving paths. Unlike the overt technologization seen in The Matrix (1999) or Ex Machina (2014), AI Amok opts for more subtle visual effects to convey AI’s ubiquity, providing a unique perspective on AI’s potential to shape societal dynamics. This approach enriches the discourse on science fiction cinema, contributing a distinctive viewpoint to the ongoing debates concerning the ethical development and integration of artificial intelligence in real-world contexts.
How we think about the future - including the future of cities and of health - is of great importance. As we enter the Anthropocene, we need to understand how environmental, social, political, ...cultural and technological forces may shape the future. Alternative futures or scenarios are a useful way to think about the future, and explore possible, plausible and preferable future conditions; the Futures Cone is one way to visualise these alternatives. Based on an understanding of the driving forces, alternative future scenarios may include extrapolative or 'business as usual' scenarios; challenging scenarios that include various forms of collapse; and visionary or transformational scenarios that build equity and sustainability. They also enable and encourage a consideration of the underlying values inherent in each scenario. Considering the implications for health and health equity within a scenario is important in our work, and in the context of healthy cities. Preferable futures, when they include commitment to creating them, become shared visions, a projection of values into the future. Rooted in the concept of 'anticipatory democracy', our approach has been to help people understand and imagine what may happen, but then to look at their preferred future and what it will take to get there.

rat i po osnivanju Slobodne države Rijeka. To uključuje raspravu o vremenu
objavljivanja, povijesnom položaju i autorima Manifesta Minerva (tzv. riječkog
futurističkog manifesta), te analizu pjesničkog djela autonomašice,
antifašistice i antifuturistice Clementine Scala-Bonetta.
The purpose of this paper is to amend and correct
previously published work that tackled Futurist and Futurism-related events in
Rijeka (Fiume). Based on the recent archival and bibliographic discoveries, the
paper proposes new textual and contextual analysis of an important pseudo-Futurist
manifesto created and published in Rijeka in 1914, and of Clementina
Scala-Bonetta’s anti-Futurist and pseudo-futurist poetry. The paper provides
basic descriptions of these two episodes, discusses their timeline, names the
protagonists, and offers basic analyses of the texts involved. Previously
unknown authorship of the Minerva Manifesto is partially resolved and presented
here. These two local episodes, framing the events of the Great War and of the
early post-war years, add an important dimension to the usual discussions about
Futurists whose activities pertain to the sixteen months of D’Annunzio’s rule over
the city (1919-1921). The analysis of local pseudo-Futurism and anti-Futurism
shows the overall level of reception of the Futurist movement, allows for the
speculation on the possible paths of the early and later engagements with the
movement, and explains political and social contexts. Special focus is placed
on the unexpected role of the political fraction of “Autonomists” (Moderates)
in the historical unfolding and in the contemporary evaluations of Futurism-related
and other avant-garde events in Rijeka (Fiume).
El afrofutrismo surge como una tendencia dentro de la ciencia ficción norteamericana. Este movimiento está íntimamente relacionado con la lucha contra el racismo y los derechos de las minorías ...afrodescendientes de los Estados Unidos. Se le ha definido como un movimiento cultural de los afrodescendientes y para los afrodescendientes en Norteamérica. En la actualidad han aparecido otros movimientos centrados en la cultura africana y afroamericana fuera del contexto anglosajón americano. Estas vertientes literarias poseen grandes diferencias con el afrofuturismo clásico. En este trabajo profundizaremos en el tema para encontrar las semejanzas y diferencias entre los diferentes movimientos afrofuturistas norteamericanos, de la diáspora africana y africanos. Analizaremos la relación entre el racismo y la literatura de ciencia ficción y sus diferencias según el lugar donde se escriba.Veremos al Caribe no como un área geográfica sino como un territorio multinacional con una cultura común. Analizaremos algunas características de la ciencia ficción y la fantasía caribeñas que clasifican como afrofuturismo. Veremos que este afrofuturismo del Caribe es un movimiento propio y no una imitación al afrofuturismo norteamericano. Finalmente cuestionaremos el propio uso de la palabra afrofuturismo para el caso particular del área cultural caribeña.
The article constitutes an attempt at analysing futurist pronatalist discourse, on the basis of the manifestos and artistic praxis of the Futurists. The reproduction postulates, prevalent in the ...works of the Polish Futurists and usually placed in the context of vitalism, characteristic of the 1920s, are shown from a biopolitical perspective, emphasizing the intersection of the biological with the political and social horizons. The author attempts to trace especially the political entanglements of the “population project” of the Polish Futurists, which turns out be marked by numerous paradoxes, situating itself between the pronatalist rhetoric typical of nationalistdiscourse (on the one hand, the discourse promoted by F.T. Marinetti, and on the other, the one formulated in Poland directly after regaining independence) and thinking in terms of a community which starts from the material functions of the body. In this second context, the reproduction postulates are not only an attack on bourgeois morality, but are closely connected with the futurist critique of all social institutions and the state apparatus with its biopolitical dispositions.
