The present study aims to determine some common species of genus Alchemilla (Rosaceae) in Osogovo Mt. and West Balkan Mt. in Bulgaria. The ecological conditions in seven habitat types according to ...EUNIS with detected presence of Alchemilla species are compared. According to this classification, the habitats that were found belong to six general types: Transition mires and quaking bogs (D 2.3), Mountain hay meadows (E 2.3), Moist or wet eutrophic and mesotrophic grassland (E 3.4), Acid alpine and subalpine grassland (E 4.3), Subalpine moist or wet tall-herb and fern stands (E 5.5), Evergreen alpine and subalpine heath and scrub (F 2.2). Seven species were reported in the investigated regions: A. crinita Buser, A. erythropoda Juz., A. flabellata Buser, A. glabra Neygenf., A. glaucescens Wallr., A. monticola Opiz and A. viridiflora Rothm. In the paper are submitted some new reports for the presence of A. crinita, A. erythropoda and A. glabra in the investigated areas. Some preliminary results concerning the resources of the examined species are obtained.
V raziskavi smo predstavili nekaj vrst rodu Alchemilla (Rosaceae) na gorovjih Osogovo in Zahodni Balkan (Stara Planina) v Bolgariji. Primerjali smo rastiščne razmere v sedmih habitatnih tipih po razvrstitvi EUNIS, v katerih smo ugotovili prisotnost vrst Alchemilla. Po tej razvrstitvi najdene habitate uvrščamo v šest glavnih tipov: prehodna barja (D 2.3), gorski gojeni travniki (E 2.3), mokrotni mezotrofni in eutrofni travniki ali pašniki (E 3.4), alpinska in subalpinska travišča na kisli podlagi (E 4.3), subalpinska in alpinska visoka steblikovja (E 5.5), arktično-alpinske in borealne resave (F 2.2). V raziskovanem območju smo našli sedem vrst: A. crinita Buser, A. erythropoda Juz., A. flabellata Buser, A. glabra Neygenf., A. glaucescens Wallr., A. monticola Opiz and A. viridiflora Rothm. V članku so prikazana nova nahajališča vrst A. crinita, A. erythropoda in A. glabra na raziskovanem območju. Prikazali smo tudi predhodne rezultate koristne uporabe proučevanih vrst rodu Alchemilla.
The paper presents results of actual phytocoenological research of acidophilous dry grasslands of the Koelerio-Phleion phleoidis Korneck 1974 alliance on the quartzite bedrock in western Slovakia. ...The modified TWINSPAN analysis distinguished two associations in the study area. Avenulo pratensis-Festucetum valesiacae Vicherek et al. in Chytry et al. 1997 is dominated by Festuca valesiaca s.l. and it is distributed on the quartzite hills in the Tribeč Mts. Potentillo heptaphyllae-Festucetum rupicolae (Klika 1951) Toman 1970 occurs at sites in the Biele Karpaty Mts and Považsky Inovec Mts and it is dominated by Festuca rupicola. The paper brings very first data on distribution of Avenulo pratensis-Festucetum valesiacae in Slovakia and extends knowledge on occurrence of Potentillo heptaphyllae-Festucetum rupicolae. Both associations represent very rare vegetation types of Central Europe. In Slovakia, they occur locally at small sized stands and are threatened by successional changes caused by cessation of traditional management and island occurrence within other vegetation types. Main environmental gradients responsible for variation in species composition of these grasslands were revealed by the principal component analysis (PCA) and interpreted using indicator values and measured characteristics of the study sites. The major pattern of variation reflects altitude, which is negatively correlated with temperature and soil depth. The relationship between species composition and environmental factors (pedology, topography, geographical position) was analysed by redundancy analysis (RDA). The most important factor affecting the data variation was longitude followed by soil pH, slope and latitude.
V članku so predstavljeni rezultati fitocenološke raziskave kisloljubnih suhih travišč zveze Koelerio-Phleionphleoidis Korneck 1974 na kvarcitni matični podlagi na zahodnem Slovaškem. Z modificirano TWINSPAN analizo smo na raziskovanem območju ločili dve asociaciji. V sestojih asociacije Avenulo pratensis-Festucetum valesiacae Vicherek et al. in Chytry et al. 1997 prevladuje vrsta Festuca valesiaca s.l., ki je razširjena na kvarcitnem hribovju v gorovju Tribeč. Sestoje asociacije Potentillo heptaphyllae-Festucetum rupicolae (Klika 1951) Toman 1970 najdemo v gorovjih Biele Karpaty in Považsky Inovec in v njih prevladuje vrsta Festuca rupicola. V članku se prvič omenja pojavljanje asociacije Avenulo pratensis-Festucetum valesiacae na Slovaškem, ki razširja poznavanje razširjenosti asociacije Potentillo heptaphyllae-Festucetum rupicolae. Obe asociaciji predstavljata redke vegetacijske tipe v srednji Evropi. Na Slovaškem se pojavljata lokalno na majhnih površinah in sta ogroženi s sukcesijskimi spremembami zaradi opuščanja tradicionalnega gospodarjenja in zaradi izoliranega pojavljanja znotraj drugih vegetacijskih tipov. Glavne ekološke gradiente, ki so odgovorni za variabilnost vrstne sestave travišč, smo dobili z uporabo metode glavnih komponent (PCA) in jih ovrednotili z indikatorskimi in merjenimi vrednostmi. Glavni vzorec variabilnosti se odraža zaradi nadmorske višine, ki je v negativni korelaciji s temperaturo in globino tal. Povezavo med vrstno sestavo in okoljskimi dejavniki (pedologijo, topografijo, geografskim položajem) smo analizirali z analizo presežkov (RDA). Najpomembnejši dejavnik je bila geografska dolžina, ki ji sledijo pH tal, naklon in geografska širina.
Usnea glabrescens has been reported to be a re-found species after almost 24 years. We found this lichen in the Bielovodská dolina Valley, Tatry Mts. in 2008. The locality is situated in Tatra ...National Park near the borderline with Poland. Morphology and medullary chemistry of the specimen were typical for the species. Usnea glabrescens grew in a moderately open and humid mixed forest on the bark of Alnus incana.
Poročamo o ponovnem odkritju vrste Usnea glabrescens po skoraj 24 letih. Našli smo jo leta 2008 v dolini Bielovodská dolina, v gorovju Tatre. Rastišče je znotraj Nacionalnega parka Tatra v bližini državne meje s Poljsko. Morfologija in medularni kemizem primerka sta značilna za vrsto Usnea glabrescens. Lišaj je uspeval v zmerno odprtem in vlažnem gozdu na lubju sive jelše (Alnus incana).
The paper discusses the phytosociological and syntaxonomical position of the dry subalpine grasslands in the Slavianka (Alibutoush, Orvilos) Mts. (South-Western Bulgaria, Northern Greece). A new ...association Saxifrago ferdinandi-coburgi-Seslerietum actarovii ass. nova has been established as a result of the phytosociological study. It is considered as an endemic vegetation unit from the calcareous subalpine terrains in the Central Balkan Peninsula high mountains (Southwestern Bulgaria, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Northern Greece). The new syntaxon belongs to the alliance Edrajantho-Seslerion Horvat 1949. A comparison with related syntaxa from other calcareous mountains from Northern Greece and the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia is discussed.
V članku avtorji obravnavajo fitosociološki in sintaksonomski položaj suhih subalpinskih travnikov v gorovju Slavjanka (Alibutoush, Orvilos) (jugozahodna Bolgarija, severna Grčija). Kot rezultat fitocenoloških raziskav so opisali novo asociacijo Saxifrago ferdinandi-coburgi-Seslerietum actarovii ass. nova. Obravnavajo jo kot endemično vegetacijsko enoto iz subalpinskega pasu visokih gora v srednjem delu Balkanskega polotoka (jugozahodna Bolgarija, Makedonija, severna Grčija). Novoopisani sintakson uvrščajo v zvezo Edrajantho-Seslerion Horvat 1949. Sintakson so primerjali s sorodnimi sintaksoni iz drugih apneniških gora iz severne Grčije in Makedonije.
In this contribution we bring together the basic phytosociological characteristics of communities with the presence of species Cyclamen fatrense in the herb layer. The analysis was made on the basis ...of 30 original phytosociological relevés. The main criterion for the relevés recording was the selection of the broadest possible range of biotopes with presence and the highest possible abundance of species Cyclamen fatrense on the entire area of its occurrence, which is represented by the Vel'ká Fatra and Starohorské vrchy Mts. The forest phytocoenoses of the association Carici albae-Fagetum Moor 1952, and phytocoenoses of clearings of the association Epilobio-Atropetum bella-donnae R. Tx. 1931 em. 1950, were classified by using Zürich-Montpellier School method. Additionally, 18 relevés with the presence of species Cyclamen fatrense were excerpted from already published works and detailed comparison was also made.
V članku so prikazane osnovne fitosociološke značilnosti združb z vrsto Cyclamen fatrense. Analizirali smo jih na podlagi 30 originalnih popisov. Glavno merilo pri izbiri popisnih ploskev je bil izbor čim širšega obsega rastišč s prisotno vrsto Cyclamen fatrense, na celotnem območju njenega pojavljanja, ki ga predstavljata gorovji Vel'ká Fatra in Starohorské vrchy. Rastišča smo izbirali tam, kjer ima vrsta največjo abundanco. S standardno srednje-evropsko metodo smo gozdne združbe uvrstili v asociacijo Carici albae-Fagetum Moor 1952 in združbe posek v asociacijo Epilobio-Atropetum bella-donnae R. Tx. 1931 em. 1950. Dodatno smo zbrali 18 objavljenih popisov z vrsto Cyclamen fatrense in jih vključili v primerjave.
