Akreditacija u skladu sa zahtjevima međunarodnog standarda HRN EN ISO / IEC 17025 (Opći zahtjevi za osposobljenost ispitnih i umjernih laboratorija) postala je praktična i široko prihvaćena metoda ...upravljanja kvalitetom i objektivni dokaz tehničke osposobljenosti, znanja i vještina u ispitnim i umjernim laboratorijima. Institut za medicinska istraživanja I medicinu rada (IMROH) akreditirao je 2010. godine svoj sustav upravljanja u skladu sa zahtjevima HRN EN ISO / IEC 17025 norme za sljedeća područja primjene: određivanje radioaktivnosti, ispitivanja kvalitete zraka te ispitivanja u području zaštite od ionizirajućega zračenja. Akreditacija je obuhvaćala tri laboratorija: Jedinicu za zaštitu od zračenja, Jedinicu za higijenu okoline i Jedinicu za dozimetriju zračenja i radiobiologiju. U skladu s pravilima Hrvatske akreditacijske agencije, u 2020. godini planira se druga reakreditacija Instituta. U radu je opisan sustav upravljanja kvalitetom u IMROH-u i iskustva stečena tijekom desetogodišnjeg razdoblja. Analizirane su nesukladnosti otkrivene tijekom redovitog rada, u internim auditima te u vanjskim auditima koje je provodila Hrvatska akreditacijska agencija, tj. nacionalno akreditacijsko tijelo u Hrvatskoj. Može se zaključiti da je akreditirani sustav upravljanja značajno poboljšao rad uključenih akreditiranih jedinica, a Institut je povećao vidljivost na tržištu i marketinšku prednost te posljedično poboljšao svoju tržišnu poziciju.
The Slovenian Resolution on the National Healthcare Plan notes that the country's medical laboratory activities are fragmented, which may result in cost-inefficiency and a reduction in the quality of ...the services provided. Defining the efficiency of laboratory service providers can therefore help us to pursue the objectives of the Resolution, i.e. to consolidate and integrate laboratory activities.
Using the DEA method, we conducted an analysis of the efficiency of 20 biomedical laboratories in Slovenia, and made a comparison with a "virtual" laboratory, i.e. a merger of laboratories within a selected organisational unit. By testing different DEA models, we sought to determine whether the use of different input variables caused significant differences in the laboratories' efficiency scores.
The research results show that inefficiency resulting from the size of the units is 1.5 times greater than process inefficiency. Using a non-parametric Wilcoxon Signed Rank test, we determined, at a risk level of 0.05, that there was no difference between the efficiency results when using two different technical efficiency DEA models. When evaluating the virtually merged laboratory, we determined that, under all three models, the virtual laboratory achieved 100% VRS efficiency. However, when the CRS methodology was used, the laboratory showed a certain degree of scale inefficiency.
When evaluating merger of medical laboratories we note that the DEA method is methodologically suitable for evaluating the effects of health policy implementation, and is an appropriate tool for identifying where the field of laboratory medicine might be further developed and improved.
Accreditation in accordance with the international General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories (HRN EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard) has become a widely accepted method ...of quality management and objective evidence of technical competence, knowledge, and skills of testing and calibration laboratories. In 2010, the Institute for Medical Research and Occupational Health (IMROH) had its management system accredited against the HRN EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard for the following scopes: determination of radioactivity, testing of ambient air quality, and testing in the scope of ionising radiation protection. This accreditation encompassed three laboratories: Radiation Protection Unit, Environmental Hygiene Unit, and the Radiation Dosimetry and Radiobiology Unit. In accordance with the rules of the Croatian Accreditation Agency, the second re-accreditation is due in 2020. This paper describes and discusses the quality management system at IMROH over the ten years of its implementation. We share our experiences about non-conformities discovered during regular work, internal audits, and external audits performed by the Croatian Accreditation Agency. The accredited management system significantly improved the performance of the accredited units, and the Institute increased its visibility and marketing advantage, consequently improving its market position.

U radu je prikazan sažetak ciljeva i učinaka projekta INFRA FGAG: “Implementacijom suvremene znanstveno-istraživačke infrastrukture na FGAG do pametne specijalizacije u zelenoj i energetski ...učinkovitoj gradnji” (KK.01.1.1.02.0027) kojeg je provelo Sveučilište u Splitu, Fakultet građevinarstva, arhitekture i geodezije a isti je vezan za sveobuhvatno jačanje postojeće i uvođenje nove znanstveno‐istraživačke infrastrukture te provođenje organizacijske reforme znanstveno‐istraživačke djelatnosti Fakulteta građevinarstva, arhitekture i geodezije.
Građevinski fakultet pokrenuo je osnivanje centra izvrsnosti pod nazivom ‘’Centar za istraživanje i razvoj sigurnog i održivog izgrađenog okoliša’’
u Sveučilišnom kampusu Borongaj u Zagrebu. U Centru ...će se stvoriti uvjeti za znanstvena istraživanja u svim granama građevinarstva te će se omogućiti značajno poboljšanje znanstvenog i istraživačkog rada Građevinskog fakulteta. Isto tako, važnu kariku u razvoju građevinske struke i novih tehnologija te njihove primjene predstavlja suradnja fakulteta s gospodarstvom. Sudjelovanje u rješavanju najzahtjevnijih inženjerskih zadaća u građevinarstvu stvara uvjete za stjecanje novih stručnih znanja i iskustava koja se dalje prenose na studente te pružaju snažnu osnovu za prijenos inovativnih rješenja u građevinsku praksu.
Cross-axial or transverse sensitivity of an accelerometer can be compensated by digital processing of the output signal. To perform this, it is necessary to determine coefficients that describe a ...sensor’s response to excitation experimentally. Many procedures advised by standards and scientific papers use expensive equipment which is not available in every laboratory. Therefore, a simple method is proposed, namely a variation of the static tilt test, requiring no other measuring equipment than the sensor itself and a flat surface. Results vary depending on sensor surface and housing quality, but it has been shown that cross sensitivity effects can be reduced from several percent usually associated with commercial threeaxial MEMS accelerometers down to 1% or less. / Кросс-осевая или поперечная чувствительность акселерометра может быть компенсирована цифровой обработкой выходного сигнала. При этом необходимо экспериментально определить коэффициенты реакции датчика на сигнал. Для проведения подобных мероприятий, в соответствии с рекомендациями стандартов и научных статей, применяется достаточно дорогое оборудование, которое не все лаборатории могут себе позволить. В данной связи представлен простой альтернативный метод, разновидность тестирования статичного угла наклона, не требующий никаких измерительных приборов, кроме датчика и плоской поверхности.Несмотря на то, что результаты зачастую зависят от качества поверхности и корпуса датчика, на практике было доказано, что значения поперечной чувствительности при таком методе значительно снижены (в несколько раз), и что типичная поперечная чувствительность трехосевого MЭМС акселерометра с нескольких процентов достигла значения ниже 1%. / Kros- aksijalna, odnosno poprečna osetljivost akcelerometra može biti kompenzovana digitalnim procesiranjem izlaznog signala. Da bi se to izvelo, potrebno je eksperimentalno odrediti koeficijente koji opisuju odgovor senzora na pobudu. Mnoge procedure koje se odnose na to, a koje su preporučene standardima i naučnim člancima, koriste skupu opremu koja nije dostupna u svakoj laboratoriji. Zato je predložen jednostavan alternativni metod, varijacija statičkog tilt-testa, koji ne zahteva nikakvu drugu mernu opremu osim senzora i ravne površine. Rezultati variraju u zavisnosti od kvaliteta površine i kućišta senzora, ali je pokazano da se efekti poprečne osetljivosti mogu smanjiti bar nekoliko puta, te da se tipična poprečna osetljivost komercijalnih troosnih MEMS akcelerometara od nekoliko procenata može lako svesti ispod 1%.
