The article publishes preliminary results of archaeological research on mound No. 45, the Bustanaevsky burial mound, located on the territory of the Buraevsky district of the Republic of ...Bashkortostan. The monument was discovered in 2011, archaeological research began in 2015 under the leadership of A.G. Kolonskikh. Currently, excavations of the necropolis continue in the course of joint research by the Institute of Ethnological Research named after. R.G. Kuzeev and the Institute of Archaeology named after A. Kh. Khalikov Tatarstan Academy of Sciences. During excavations, one single burial was discovered under the mound. Along with the poorly preserved skeleton, the burial contained archaeological material represented by two vessels, arrowheads and elements of a belt set made in the heraldic style, horse bones and iron bits. The data obtained allow us to assume that the necropolis was left by the bearers of the Kushnarenkovo archaeological culture. The preliminary dating of the burial is the end of the 6th - beginning of the 7th century AD.
The article deals with the issues related to the problem of the existence of urban-type settlements in the Early Middle Ages in the Volga-Kama. On the example of the materials of TetiushiII hillfort ...located on the right bank of the Volga, the author gives arguments confirming this thesis. Having been studied for six seasons since 2007, Tetiushi-II hillfort has a unique stratigraphy which made it possible to identify the chronological stages of its existence, as well as to determine the peak of its functioning — the second half of the 6th — first half of the 7th centuries. The hillfort, as well as the settlement adjacent to it from the side facing the enemy, belongs to the Imen’kovo culture. A clear layout of the hillfort was recorded: an industrial site with furnaces and melting pits in the northern part of this settlement, an area of craft workshops and residential estates in the southern part of the site near the rampart. The population of the hillfort was engaged in crafts, trade, and had a developed system of cults and was multi-ethnic.
The fifth series of the Complete Works and Letters of Leibniz contains not only his historical works but also his writings on language, for which his interest is lesser known. Leibniz was not just a ...language philosopher, criticizing John Locke’s ideas, but also made proposals for the cultivation of the German language and was interested in the various languages of the world. This contribution aims to answer why Leibniz had a specific interest in the “Scythian” languages, which he believed played a crucial role for understanding the prehistory of Europe and Asia. Leibniz’s comparative language project, firmly rooted in his Opus historicum, was not only based on collecting translations of the Lord’s Prayer, but also on mining the sources of Ancient Authors such as Hesychius in order to obtain an overview of the language. The analysis reveals the dynamic evolution of Leibniz’s ideas regarding the exact identity of the Scythians, as opposed to the stability of his methodological and etymological methods.
La cinquième série de l’édition de l’Académie des œuvres de Leibniz contient non seulement ses œuvres historiques, mais aussi ses écrits moins connus sur la langue, dont il s’occupait intensément. Leibniz n’était pas seulement un philosophe critique du langage qui remettait en question les idées de John Locke, mais s’engageait également pour la culture de la langue allemande et l’étude des différentes langues du monde. L’article examine pourquoi Leibniz s’intéresse particulièrement aux langues scythiques, qu’il considère comme essentielles à la compréhension de la préhistoire européenne et asiatique. Son projet de comparaison linguistique, ancré au cœur de ses œuvres historiques, se fondait non seulement sur des traductions du Notre Père, mais aussi sur l’évaluation de sources antiques comme Hésychius. L’analyse montre les idées changeantes de Leibniz sur l’identité des Scythes, contrairement à la cohérence de ses approches méthodologiques et étymologiques.
Die fünfte Reihe der Leibniz-Akademieausgabe beinhaltet nicht nur seine historischen Werke, sondern auch seine weniger bekannten Schriften zur Sprache, mit denen er sich intensiv beschäftigte. Leibniz war nicht nur ein kritischer Sprachphilosoph, der die Ideen von John Locke in Frage stellte, sondern setzte sich auch für die Pflege der deutschen Sprache und das Studium der verschiedenen Sprachen der Welt ein. Der Beitrag untersucht, warum Leibniz ein besonderes Interesse an den skythischen Sprachen hatte, die er für entscheidend für das Verständnis der europäischen und asiatischen Vorgeschichte hielt. Sein sprachvergleichendes Projekt, das im Kern seiner historischen Werke verankert ist, gründete sich nicht nur auf Übersetzungen des Vaterunsers, sondern auch auf der Auswertung antiker Quellen wie Hesychius. Die Analyse zeigt Leibniz’ wandelnde Vorstellungen über die Identität der Skythen, im Gegensatz zu der Konsistenz seiner methodischen und etymologischen Ansätze.

Simply put, the modern Slovenian nation began as a cultural project in the age of Enlightenment. Its basic axis has been Standard Slovenian as one of Slavic languages. The book describes from where ...the speakers of the initial common Slavic language arrived at our place, as well as where and when Slavs came into being. Throughout the history of long ages the author observes the relationship between the speakers of the language, political power, and particularly the Church as an institution with a universal ideology which as such does not in any way encourage local identity. The book also recalls the millennial roots of Slovenian identity whose present state is not a logical consequence of the past, much less the beginning of self-evident future. The author knows that the final image of the past is always created by the reader themself, therefore using challenging illustrations he constantly encourages them to think. The author also does not expect the reader to agree with him, but would like them to find some causal connections of their own and thus recover the lost memory of who they are.
Allgemeine Geschichte vom Anfang der historischen Kentnis bis auf unsere Zeiten … (Freiburg) - czwarty z dziewięciu tomów opublikowanego, po raz pierwszy na przestrzeni 1812-1827, dzieła ...pragmatycznej historiografii, którego autorem jest niemiecki politolog, pedagog, profesor uniwersytecki, historyk, polityk i publicysta Karl Wenzeslaus Rodeckher von Rotteck (1775-1840). 9-tomowa Historia powszechna Rottecka obejmująca czasy od zarania dziejów po czasy współczesne autorowi opracowania została następnie skrócona do czterech tomów i jako Allgemeine Weltgeschichte für alle Stände udostępniona szerokiej publiczności w 1846 roku. Dzieło Rottecka, napisane w duchu Woltera, było ówcześnie porównywalne jedynie z Biblią i szeroko rozpowszechniane nawet w odległych gospodarstwach rolnych na badeńskiej wsi. W roku śmierci autora osiągnęło niespotykany jak na tamte czasy nakład 100 000 egzemplarzy. Publikacja była bestsellerem literatury historycznej w XIX wieku. Niniejszy, czwarty tom składa się z trzech głównych części. Pierwsza zawiera wprowadzenie, w którym autor przedstawia m.in. ogólny rys historyczno- polityczny omawianego czasokresu, źródła oraz chronologię. Druga część zawiera niezwykle obszerny opis historii wczesnego średniowiecza. Ramy czasowe niniejszego tomu wyznacza okres od śmierci Teodozjusza I Wielkiego; łac. Flaviusa Theodosiusa, Theodosius I (347 -395) - ostatniego cesarza władającego zarówno wschodnią, jak i zachodnią częścią cesarstwa rzymskiego do koronacji króla Franków i Longobardów Karola I Wielkiego; łac.Carolus Magnus (742 lub 747-814) na świętego cesarza rzymskiego, w grudniu 800 roku. Szczegółowemu opisowi podany zostaje przede wszystkim okres procesu migracyjnego określanego mianem wielkiej wędrówki ludów, który radykalnie odmienił obraz kontynentu europejskiego, doprowadził do zmian etnicznych na dużych obszarach, wyznaczył koniec starożytności i pociągnął za sobą upadek cesarstwa. Allgemeine Geschichte vom Anfang der historischen Kentnis bis auf unsere Zeiten... (Freiburg) - the fourth of nine volumes published, for the first time in 1812-1827, works of pragmatic historiography, written by German political scientist, educator, university professor, historian, politician and columnist Karl Wenzeslaus von Rotteck (1775-1840). Rotteck’s 9-volume history, covering the times from the beginning of history to modern times, was then shortened to four volumes and as Allgemeine Weltgeschichte für alle Stände made available to the general public in 1846. The Rottecka work, written in the spirit of Voltaire, was then comparable only to the Bible and widely distributed even in distant farms in the Baden village. In the year of the author’s death, he achieved an unprecedented circulation of 100.000 copies. The publication was a bestseller of historical literature in the nineteenth century. This fourth volume consists of three main parts. The first one contains an introduction in which the author presents, among others A general historical and political feature of the time period, sources and chronology discussed. The second part contains an extremely extensive description of the history of the early Middle Ages. The time frame of this volume defines the period from the death of Theodosius I the Great; Latin. Flavius Theodosius, Theodosius I (347 -395) - the last emperor ruling both the eastern and western parts of the Roman Empire to the coronation of King Franks and Longobards of Charlemagne; Latin Carolus Magnus (742 or 747-814) as the Holy Roman Emperor, in December 800. The detailed description is given above all the period of the migration process referred to as the great migration of peoples, which radically changed the image of the European continent, lead to ethnic changes in large areas, set the end of antiquity and resulted in the collapse of the empire. Part three, on the other hand, contains the author’s general considerations for the period described, including shaping and organizing contemporary societies, population migration, development of trade, culture, religion, science and art, etc.

Autorem opracowania jest Julius August Remer (1738-1803) – niemiecki historyk, wykładowca uniwersytecki, profesor ...historii i statystyki na Uniwersytecie w Helmstedt. Zakres czasowy dokumentu obejmuje okres od biblijnego stworzenia świata do wielkiej wędrówki ludów czyli okresu migracji plemion barbarzyńskich w szczególności Hunów i Germanów, na terytorium Cesarstwa Rzymskiego i sąsiednie, u schyłku starożytności i w początkach średniowiecza (IV – VI wiek). Proces ten radykalnie odmienił obraz kontynentu europejskiego – doprowadził do zmian etnicznych na dużych obszarach, wyznaczył koniec starożytności i pociągnął za sobą upadek cesarstwa. Większość powstałych na jego gruzach nowych państw sama podzieliła jego los, jednak niektóre stały się podwalinami nowożytnych państw europejskich.
Released in 1794 in Brunswick (German: Braunschweig) textbook on ancient history. The author of the study is Julius August Remer (1738-1803) - German historian, university lecturer, professor of history and statistics at the University of Helmstedt. The temporal scope of the document includes the period from the biblical creation of the world to the great migration of peoples, the migration period of barbaric tribes, in particular the Huns and Germans, the territory of the Roman Empire and neighboring, at the end of antiquity and the beginning of the Middle Ages (20th century). This process radically changed the image of the European continent - it lead to ethnic changes in large areas, set the end of antiquity and entailed the collapse of the empire. Most of the new states created on its ruins divided its fate, but some became the foundations of modern European countries.
