Transition properties for the A1Π-X1Σ+ system of PN have been investigated. Three sets of the potential energy curves (PECs) for the X1Σ+ and A1Π states are studied by the ab initio calculation, the Rydberg-Klein-Rees method and an empirical fitting to the experimental energies. Transition probabilities are then computed utilizing the empirical PECs and a high-level ab initio transition dipole moment. The partition functions for temperatures up to 10000 K are generated by employing the hybrid empirical and ab initio energies of eight low-lying states. Finally, the line list of PN A1Π-X1Σ+ transition is presented.

This study reports the first investigation of polychlorinated naphthalenes (PCNs) in air and soil samples from ecologically important sites of the Indus River Basin, Pakistan. The concentrations of ...∑39-PCNs in air and soil were found in a range between 1–1588 pg m−3 and 0.02–23 ng g−1 while the mean TEQ values were calculated to be 5.4E−04 pg TEQ m−3 and 1.6E+01 pg TEQ g−1, respectively. Spatially, air and soil PCN concentrations were found to be high at Rahim Yar Khan (agricultural region). Lower-medium chlorinated PCNs (sum of tri-, tetra- and penta-CNs) predominated in both air and soil, altogether constituting 87 and 86% of total PCNs in the two environmental matrices, respectively. According to the data, soil–air partitioning of PCNs was interpreted to be similarly controlled by the combined effect of black carbon and organic matter in the Indus River Basin, with no preferential implication of the recalcitrant organic form.

Complex networks are not easy to decode and understand to work on it, similarly, the Möbius structure is also considered as a complex structure or geometry. After making easy of its construction, recognition of each vertex (node or atom) is also not an easy task, in this context resolvability parameters plays an important role in controlling or accessing each vertex with respect to some chosen vertices called as resolving set or sometimes dividing entire cluster of vertices into further subparts (subsets) and then accessing each vertex with respect to build in subsets called as resolving partition set. In these parameters, each vertex has its own unique identification and is easy to access despite the small or huge structures. In this article, we provide a resolving partition of hexagonal Möbius ladder graph and discuss bounds of partition dimension of hexagonal Möbius ladder network.
We continue our study of the density of the odd values of eta-quotients, here focusing on the m-regular partition functions bm for m even. Based on extensive computational evidence, we propose an ...elegant conjecture which, in particular, completely classifies such densities: Let m=2jm0 with m0 odd. If 2j<m0, then the odd density of bm is 1/2; moreover, such density is equal to 1/2 on every (nonconstant) subprogression An+B. If 2j>m0, then bm, which is already known to have density zero, is identically even on infinitely many non-nested subprogressions. This and all other conjectures of this paper are consistent with our “master conjecture” on eta-quotients presented in the previous work.
In general, our results on bm for m even determine behaviors considerably different from the case of m odd. Also interesting, it frequently happens that on subprogressions An+B, bm matches the parity of the multipartition functions pt, for certain values of t. We make a suitable use of Ramanujan-Kolberg identities to deduce a large class of such results; as an example, b28(49n+12)≡p3(7n+2)(mod2). Additional consequences are several “almost always congruences” for various bm, as well as new parity results specifically for b11.
We wrap up our work with a much simpler proof of the main result of a recent paper by Cherubini-Mercuri, which fully characterized the parity of b8.
We investigate the parity of the coefficients of certain eta-quotients, extensively examining the case of m-regular partitions. Our theorems concern the density of their odd values, in particular ...establishing lacunarity modulo 2 for specified coefficients; self-similarities modulo 2; and infinite families of congruences in arithmetic progressions. For all m≤28, we either establish new results of these types where none were known, extend previous ones, or conjecture that such results are impossible.
All of our work is consistent with a new, overarching conjecture that we present for arbitrary eta-quotients, greatly extending Parkin-Shanks' classical conjecture for the partition function. We pose several other open questions throughout the paper, and conclude by suggesting a list of specific research directions for future investigations in this area.
To enhance the sound insulation performance of double panel partitions at their mass-air-mass resonance frequency, novel compact and low-mass solutions are sought. This paper investigates the use of ...the locally resonant vibro-acoustic metamaterial concept as a possible solution. The metamaterial solution is applied to one panel of a double panel partition in order to enhance the sound transmission loss at the mass-air-mass resonance. To design the metamaterial solution and predict its sound transmission loss performance, an extension of the multiple reflection theory is proposed, incorporating the dynamic mass of a metamaterial panel. The latter is obtained from the metamaterial plate dispersion curves, calculated using finite element based unit cell modeling. The designed metamaterial solution is manufactured and its insertion loss is measured. The novel design outperforms the original double panel and an equivalent total mass double panel configuration in the targeted mass-air-mass resonance frequency region. The predictions obtained with the proposed method are in good agreement with the experimentally obtained results. This demonstrates the potential of the metamaterial solution to enhance the acoustic insulation at the mass-air-mass resonance and indicates that the proposed method allows a fast, simple and representative indication of their acoustic insulation performance.
•Double panel STL is enhanced at the mass-air-mass frequency using locally resonant metamaterials.•A unit cell based dynamic mass calculation based on the dispersion curves is proposed.•Fast STL prediction method is proposed using the multiple reflection theory combined with the dynamic mass.•A transparent metamaterial double panel partition is designed, manufactured and tested experimentally.•Good agreement between proposed method and experimental results.
