Ralámuri handicrafts have managed to cross the borders of the world, placing them as one of the favorites and of greatest interest to national and foreign tourists, however, the prices for these ...products are low. This article analyzes the artisan work from the perspective of the Ralámuri woman and the cost of production to establish the sale prices. Its purpose is to analyze the worldview of the Ralámuri artisan woman, in terms of the cost of production, according to their ideologies and customs. The applied research, of a descriptive type, combines the analytical-synthetic and deductive theoretical methods, in addition, it is important to highlight that the analysis combined qualitative and quantitative aspects, developed with tools such as semi-structured interview, field trips participatory observation days and surveys among Ralámuri women. Throughout the text, the relationship with the raw materials to make their handicrafts is comprehensively analyzed, resulting in an integral worldview of nature, which provides the necessary material for the generation of their handicrafts, without generating an extra cost of production, this allows handicrafts to be given at a low cost according to their interpretation.
The development of scientific knowledge in recent years has necessitated the systematization of regional issues through the prism of the population and settlements. The population-territory ...development model is largely imposed, as the definition of basic fundamental formulations related to the clarification of the subject area of regional development and regional policy. The exhibition considers the possibility of systematization of the scientific tools of regional development and the definition of its problem area as a result of demographic findings. It is expressed in the framing of the separate scientific directions and theoretical formulations in the development of the regional science in the context of the demographic situation in regional and local plan.
The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on economic growth and to determine the state of the economy and health in North Kalimantan Province, as well as to find ...out which sectors are most affected. The method used in this research is descriptive statistical analysis, while to measure the health condition of the economy in North Kalimantan Province, 2 (two) indicators are used, namely the Effective reproduction rate (Rt) and the rate of economic growth which are grouped into 4 quadrants, meanwhile to measure the affected sector, Fuzzy C-Means is used. The results show that the economic growth of North Kalimantan Province in the second quarter experienced a contraction of up to -3.14% but in the third quarter it got better even though it still grew minus at -1.46%. The state of the economy of North Kalimantan Province in the second quarter of 2020 is based on calculations with the indicator of the effective reproduction rate (𝑅𝑡) and the economic growth rate of North Kalimantan Province is in the fourth quadrant which means that the number of positive cases of Covid-19 is still low but the economy is also low due to the spread of Covid-19 prevention policies, namely PSBB. Whereas in the third quarter of 2020, North Kalimantan Province is in the first quadrant, which means that economic growth is still below the average economic growth in Kalimantan, but the effective reproduction rate (𝑅𝑡) has increased, which is due to the relaxation of the government. From the results of the research it is also known that there are 3 (three) business sectors / fields that are categorized as highly impacted sectors, namely mining and excavation, transportation and warehousing as well as providers of accommodation, food and drink.
The development of the situation in Siberia is closely related to the potential transport probability due to a significant increase in prices for sales markets and the priority of raw material zones ...of economic specialization. At present new directions are superimposed on the formed backbone of the region's agricultural production. The development of Yamal fish farming in the Pur-Taz interfluve makes it possible to simultaneously focus on the Arctic sea and regional river directions. Possible proposals for developing transport value include: combining the use of corporate transport value; creation of a sustainable road network with winter roads; road connectivity with improved pavement, an emerging livestock processing cluster; transfer to the history of roads with dirt tracks in the south-west of the Tyumen region.
The objective of this work is to propose an indicator of development with the differential of being constructed only with variables that seek to reflect the causes of development, not its effect. ...Statistical and factorial analysis techniques were used to formulate the indicator in question and to verify the municipalities that will develop more quickly. Considering that the western region of Paraná has undergone important transformations in the economic structure and population dynamics, we opted to apply the indicator proposed in this region. It was verified that the 14 variables selected for the study explain 70.39% of the total data variance, and the cities with the best socioeconomic conditions are Ibema, Cascavel, Cafelândia, Santa Terezinha de Itaipu and Toledo

The article presents the modelling of structural transformations in the employment of the population by the algorithm: 1) forming a database and establishing the type of mathematical model; 2) ...identification of variables; 3) exploring the forms of correlation between factor features and the resulting variable; 4) parameterization of data; 5) drawing up the regression equation; 6) economic interpretation of the results, in particular, the calculation of elasticity coefficients; 8) validation of the model for adequacy (calculation of errors of approximation, correlation coefficients and determination); 9) validation of the model for statistical significance (Fisher criterion and Student’st-test); 10) forecasting: calculation of confidence intervals.
It is formed the statistical research base of the level dependence of the Ukrainian population employment (selected regions) on a number of factors (share of full-time workers with higher education in % to accounting number; growth rate of labor productivity; growth rate of average wages; capital investment index; coverage ratio). The research was made due to data of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine in the period of 2000—2016 in the Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Kyiv and Vinnytsia regions. The dynamics of growth of selected factors for each region for the period 2000—2016 is considered.
It is established and determined the economic and mathematical models of the level dependence of the Ukrainian population employment (region) on the influence of selected factors for Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Kyiv and Vinnitsa regions. The comparative analysis of the obtained results is carried out.
It is established that the determinants that influence the dynamics of employment growth for the industrial regions of Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions are the factors reflecting the share of full-time employees with higher education, growth rate of labor productivity and the coefficient of export coverage. It is made a comparative analysis of the built regional models (Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Kyiv and Vinnytsia regions) with a mathematical model of multiple regression for the analysis of structural changes in the employment of the population of Ukraine.
This article is devoted to the study and analysis of gradually and steadily penetrating new digital technologies into all economic processes of the country and regions, having a significant impact on ...the very essence of the economy. In most cases, the expanding use of modern information and communication technologies leads to the emergence and development of new effective management technologies, entrepreneurial practices, and successful businesses. The digital transformation of economic sectors is considered as a driver of regional development and the formation of the digital infrastructure of the regions. The article is aimed at identifying the problems and prospects for the development of regions in the conditions of digitalization, for this it is necessary: to analyze the index of the development of regions on digitalization, to identify the main problems of the development of regions in the conditions of digitalization, to assess measures for the digital transformation of regions. The article concludes that the digital transformation of the economy sets new parameters for the competitiveness of countries. The technologies of the "digital age" are changing production and business-models, principles and rules for the formation of value added chains, sales channels and interaction with consumers. The article notes that currently, enterprises of even traditional industries and technologies face not only the need to maintain competitiveness based on the use of information technology in the processes of organizing economic activity, but also the need to transform the entire business model. This determines the relevance of the development of an indicator reflecting the readiness of the enterprise for such a transformation.
Tidal power generation, being one of the earliest and largest developed new energy technologies, has evolved into a mature and increasingly competitive source of energy. This article delves into the ...evaluation of tidal energy's socioeconomic impact, establishing a connection between its environmental benefits and regional economic development. The focus is on marine economic efficiency, and the super-efficiency DEA model is employed to gauge this efficiency. The study conducts a thorough analysis of the green ocean economic efficiency in three major regions, introducing the Malmquist efficiency index for a comprehensive understanding of changing trends. Utilizing an economic effect model, the research explores the contribution of tidal energy development to regional economic growth, delving into industry-related effects. Through these analyses, we aim to provide a clearer and more comprehensive insight into the positive influence of tidal energy on regional socioeconomics. This understanding is pivotal for guiding sustainable tidal energy development and formulating relevant policies.
•Establishing an economic effect model•Studied the contribution of tidal energy development to regional economic growth•Deeply explored the industrial correlation effect
•Entrepreneur industry choice has a significant impact on young firm revenue growth.•State economic condition has no direct impact on young firms revenue growth.•Entrepreneur industry choice is more ...important in a declining regional economy.
This study examines the impact of environmental munificence on young firm revenue growth. One hundred and ninety young U.S.-based firms from 42 states are studied for their growth over a three-year period. Specifically, we find that the environmental munificence in terms of entrepreneur’s selected industry has a significant impact on young firms’ revenue growth but the state’s economic condition has no such impact. However, the positive effect of industry growth on young firms’ revenue growth is significantly stronger in states with declining GDP. The findings suggest that state economy may not be as important for starting a business for its revenue growth, and the choice of industry for the business is more important in a declining regional economy than has been previously understood.
