Objective: The aim of this study was to examine the status of emotional labor among nursing school students in the end-of-life (EOL) nursing practicum and to provide support for them. We also ...clarified how the individual characteristics (empathy and sense of coherence SOC) of nursing school students are related to emotional labor. Methods: A questionnaire was administered to third-year nursing school students after the EOL nursing practicum. Results: The total score on the Emotional Labor Inventory for Nurses (ELIN) was 96.2±12.7 (n=81), indicating that the factors influencing emotional labor were related to empathy and SOC. Furthermore, SOC was determined to be the factor that reduced various other emotional labor factors, such as "surface adjustment" and "suppressed expression." Conclusions: During the EOL care practicum, emotional labor among nursing school students was high. Moreover, high scores on empathy tended to influence nursing practice. However, low scores in the SOC suggested evidence of psychological burden and emotional suppression.
目的：専門学校生の終末期看護実習における感情労働および支援の実態と，専門学校生の共感性やストレス対処能力（Sence of ...Coherence：以下SOC）と感情労働との関連を明らかにし，終末期看護実習指導の示唆を得る。方法：終末期看護実習終了直後の看護専門学校３年生に，質問紙調査を実施した。結果：感情労働総点は96.2±12.7（n＝81），感情労働と共感性の関連では，感情労働の「総点」「ケアの表現」「探索的理解」には多次元共感の「視点取得」が選定され，感情労働の「深層適応」「探索的理解」には，多次元共感の「個人的苦悩」が選定された。感情労働とSOCの関連では，感情労働の「総点」「表出抑制」は，SOCの「把握可能感」が負の要因と選定され，「表層適応」はSOCの「処理可能感」が負の要因と選定された。結論：終末期看護実習で専門学校生は多くの感情労働を行っており，感情労働と共感性は正の関連，SOCとは負の関連が認められた。
In order to promote the sustainable development of a social economy and ecology, the social–economic–natural compound ecosystem (SENCE) conceptual framework was used to construct the water ...environmental carrying capacity index system. Taking the Gansu section of the Yellow River basin as an example, 18 indexes were selected from the 3 subsystems of social, economic, and natural ecology. Based on the unascertained measure theory and the obstacle factor model, the comprehensive level of water environmental carrying capacity in the Gansu section of the Yellow River basin from 2015 to 2020 was empirically evaluated, and the obstacles that hindered the water environmental carrying capacity were identified and analyzed. The results showed that the comprehensive level of water environmental carrying capacity fluctuated and increased overall, and it was grade III (critical load) from 2015 to 2017 and in 2019 and grade IV (weak load) in 2018 and 2020. Considering the ranking of the obstacle degree of each index, the obstacle factors were concentrated in the natural ecological subsystem, among which the obstacle factors were the discharge of wastewater, the population density, the urbanization rate, and the water resources development and utilization rate, which should be examined in the future. The research results and methods described in this paper could provide a theoretical reference for the evaluation of water environmental carrying capacity for other rivers and lakes.
Therapeutische Wahrnehmungserfahrungen, die in der Berührung bzw. dem Tasten entstehen, zeigen sich im leiblichen Erleben eines Zwischen – so in der berührenden Erlebnispraxis zwischen Osteopath*in ...und Patient*in. Das Zwischen fasse ich dort als Erlebnisraum dieser Erlebnispraxis zur Welt auf. Als der Erlebnisraum meiner leiblichen Erfahrung und verbunden damit die des oder der Patientin. Somit gilt es, dies Zwischen als einen geteilten Artikulationsraum von wechselseitigen Bezügen zu bestimmen. Denn dort befragt der oder die wahrnehmende Osteopathin die Leiblichkeit der oder des Anderen. In dieser Berührungspraxis zeigen sich Phänomene von Eigen- und Zwischenleiblichkeit, die sich als sinnliches Erleben der Tastenden präsentieren. Sie sind elementare Voraussetzung, um ein Handlungsfeld von berührender Heilung zu konstituieren. Denn mit dem Tasten vollzieht sich eine Veränderung der Elementarverhältnisse zwischen Berührenden und Berührten – vice versa. Damit wird die Relation selbst erlebender Wahrnehmung zu einer vital erlebten implizierten Zwischenleiblichkeit konstituiert, die die Wahrnehmung im leiblichen Selbst aufzuspüren vermag.
Mir geht es in diesem Beitrag einerseits um den Tastsinn, der dieser Erlebnispraxis im Zwischen zugrunde liegt, andererseits um die Wirkung des Tastens im eigenleiblichen Erleben. Hierzu gibt es Zeugnisse klinisch tätiger Osteopath*innen, über die es zu berichten gilt. Denn das Wissen um die 1.-Person-Perspektive kann sich in dieser Praxis erklären.
Therapeutic, perceptual experiences that arise within touch or the actio palpationis present themselves in the bodily experience of intercorporeity, i. e., in the touching experience between osteopath and patient. I understand this space between as the space of this practice toward the world, as the space for my lived body, existential experience. It is necessary to define this between as a space of articulation of mutual relations.
There, the perceiving osteopath questions the corporeity of the other. In this practice of touching, phenomena of inner and intermediate corporeity are revealed, which present themselves as sensual experiences to the touching person. They are an elementary prerequisite for constituting a field of action of haptic healing because through touch changes take place in the elementary relations between touching and touched.
In this way, the relation of self-perceived-perception is constituted into a vitally lived intercorporeity which allows the tracing of perception in the corporeal self.
In my talk I want to focus on the sense of touch which underlies this lived practice (the subjects‘ lived experience) within intercorporeity. I am also interested in the effect of touch on the subjects‘ own corporeal experience. For this reason, I have collected testimonies of clinically active osteopaths, for the 1st-person science of consciousness can be explained through practice.
Recently dental students have experienced considerable stress because of the in creasing difficulty of the Japanese National Dental Examination. We investigated how students handled this stress. The ...students in the sixth year at Osaka Dental University were given a questionnaire in 2015 with 36 items, including how they handled stress during their graduation examination. In this study with the results of the examination being a dependent variable, a sig nificant difference test was conducted between the pass group and the fail group for the 36 items. Of the 140 sixth year students, 73 passed. Significant differences were found between the two groups in 10 of the 36 questions. Discriminant analysis indicated that the factors of com prehension, coping and the avoidance strongly correlated with whether the student passed or failed. Abstract Objectives The aim of the study was, in a ten-year follow-up, to describe and explore potential changes in quality of life and sense of coherence in relation to gender differences among ...persons with epilepsy in the transition from adolescence to adulthood. Materials and methods A longitudinal study of sense of coherence (SOC) and quality of life with repeated measurement design (1999, 2004, and 2009) was conducted in a population of persons (n = 69) who were aged 13–22 years in 1999 and 23–33 years in 2009. The Quality-of-Life Index (QLI) and the Sense of Coherence (SOC) scale were used. Results There was a significant decrease ( p ≤ 0.001) in seizures compared with the 2004 results, mainly among the women ( p = 0.003). When comparing the total QLI scores, no significant differences were found between the three data collections and there were no differences in total scores between men and women. There was a decrease in the SOC total score over the 10-year period study. Total SOC was significantly higher among those being 30–33 years old compared to those being 23–29 years old ( p = 0.014) and among those having a driving license ( p = 0.029) compared to those not having a driving license. Conclusions Both quality of life and sense of coherence are important for maintaining health and well-being. Promoting health and well-being requires effective high-quality multidisciplinary person-centered care.
In this paper we present a lattice dynamical system stated by Kaneko in (Phys Rev Lett, 65: 1391–1394, 1990) which is related to the Belusov–Zhabotinskii chemical reaction. We prove that this CML ...(Coupled Map Lattice) system is chaotic in the sense of Li–Yorke and in the sense of Devaney for zero coupling constant. Some problems on the dynamics of this system are stated for the case of having non-zero coupling constant.
