Este relatório teve como objetivo a apresentação do trabalho desenvolvido no estágio curricular da modalidade de Futsal no decorrer da época 2022/2023, no Sporting Clube de Portugal. Este relatório ...conta com a apresentação do trabalho desenvolvido, metodologias de trabalho e aprendizagens. Dentro deste estágio estive envolvido no escalão sénior do clube com funções direcionadas ao Scouting, incluindo a gravação de treinos e jogos. Ainda dentro deste estágio trabalhei com o escalão de sub-19, com a função de ajudar nos treinos, com montagem dos exercícios, e o controlo e feedback sobre os mesmos.Este trabalho inclui um projeto de investigação, o qual incidiu sobre as seguintes questões: Qual será o papel do transfer direto da semana de treinos em relação à forma como ocorrem os golos no período competitivo do microciclo? Claro é, que cada microciclo é trabalhado tendo em vista a preparação do jogo que se aproxima, sobretudo e exemplificando é a escolha da situação específica da bola parada, contudo, será que realmente tem importância direta, será que ao trabalharmos mais exercícios de bola parada ou de organização ofensiva, vamos marcar mais golos dessa forma? Para responder a estas perguntas foi analisada a época desportiva do Sporting Clube de Portugal, no decorrer da época 22/23, até ao jogo 1 das meias-finais dos Playoffs da liga Placard.
As funções desempenhadas durante o estágio foram as de treinador adjunto, na equipa sénior de futebol, do Sport Clube Escolar Bombarralense, na época 2021/22. O estágio teve como principais ...objetivos, aplicar em contexto prático os conhecimentos adquiridos ao longo da formação e refletir sobre as aprendizagens.No relatório de estágio é feita uma caraterização do contexto em que foi realizado o estágio. É apresentada a forma como a equipa desenvolveu o seu modelo de jogo e modelo de treino. São também apresentadas as principais tarefas desenvolvidas pelo estagiário, foram elas, o planeamento, avaliação, operacionalização da componente física e o registo dos dados quantitativos de jogo.Foram elaborados dois estudos de investigação. O estudo 1, que teve como objetivos, o desenvolvimento e aplicação prática de um sistema de observação sobre o momento da transição defensiva no futebol (SOTDF). Este estudo teve um total de duas variáveis e nove critérios, tendo sido aplicado em oito jogos. O SOTDF, revelou-se uma ferramenta proveitosa, pois, possibilita à equipa técnica ter acesso a um conjunto de dados que são úteis para refletir, planear e ajustar o processo de treino e jogo, no momento da transição defensiva.O estudo 2, teve como objetivo, quantificar os dados de carga externa e de bemestar de uma equipa de uma competição de futebol de nível distrital, durante dois microciclos, comparando titulares e não titulares, em treino e jogo. Os dados de carga externa foram recolhidos através de dispositivos de sistema de posicionamento global, enquanto os dados de bem-estar, através do Índice de Hooper. Os principais resultados apontaram: os titulares com valores de carga externa mais elevados do que os não titulares, em quase todas as variáveis (p < 0.05); os não titulares apresentaram níveis superiores de stresse durante todo o microciclo (p < 0.05); os titulares apresentaram maior dor muscular reportada no MD-5.
Este relatório retrata a concretização do processo estágio no decorrer de uma época desportiva, integrando a equipa técnica do escalão de Iniciados B (sub-14), incorporado no Departamento de Análise ...e Observação (DAO), num clube de elite que é referência internacional na formação de futebolistas.Enquanto clube que tem como objetivo formar jogadores para o mais elevado nível competitivo, capazes de virem a integrar a equipa principal, o processo de formação a longo prazo engloba diversas áreas de intervenção, nomeadamente a vertente da observação e análise de jogo, atuando de forma progressiva e ajustada ao enquadramento do escalão e facultando aos jovens futebolistas os meios para melhorarem o seu conhecimento e preparação para o jogo.Foi realizado um estudo acerca do perfil dos futebolistas jovens das equipas B, participantes na Segunda Liga Portuguesa, tendo por base o Efeito da Idade Relativa. Na amostra de 770 jogadores verificou-se a predominância significativa de jogadores nascidos no 1º Trimestre (37%), mas não se comprovou haver uma relação estatisticamente significativa entre o trimestre de nascimento e a aptidão para transitarem para a Primeira Liga.Em média, cada jogador que transitou das equipas secundárias para a Primeira Liga, completou 31,91 jogos na Segunda Liga.O evento “Webinar Análise e Observação no Futebol” proporcionou à comunidade académica e futebolística um momento rico de partilha de conhecimento, contando com a participação de três profissionais da área que, de forma aberta, deram a conhecer um pouco do seu “know-how”, culminando num conjunto de reflexões relevantes, tendo a sessão ocorrido de forma remota por força das circunstâncias.
Objetivo do estudo: Os programas de fidelização de torcedores são exemplos de como os clubes adaptaram ferramentas bem-sucedidas do mundo corporativo para impulsionarem suas marcas, visando uma ...alternativa perene de receitas. Porém, o ambiente de volatilidade passional dos torcedores se torna um desafio na gestão esportiva. Dessa forma, o objetivo do trabalho consiste em implementar uma metodologia de Credit Scoring para avaliar o comportamento de inadimplência em um programa de sócios. Metodologia/abordagem: O Credit Scoring é tradicionalmente difundido nas instituições bancárias para estudar o comportamento de inadimplência dos clientes, utilizando perfis cadastrais e de relacionamento para atribuir scores que mensuram o risco de inadimplência.Originalidade/relevância: Entender o comportamento do torcedor se torna fundamental para o gestor implementar medidas promocionais que visem potencializar a fidelização.Principais resultados: Os resultados apontam que os sócios com planos mais caros, idades mais elevadas, mesma cidade da realização dos jogos e proximidade ao estádio tem suas probabilidades de inadimplência reduzidas de forma significativa. Mesmo se tratando de um ambiente de maioria masculina, o sexo feminino se apresenta como um perfil de menor probabilidade de inadimplência. O fato do titular da conta de sócio possuir dependentes vinculados reduz a probabilidade de inadimplência, contrapondo-se à literatura de Credit Scoring bancário, onde o número de dependentes aumenta a probabilidade de inadimplência.Contribuições teóricas/metodológicas: O trabalho utiliza técnicas de georreferenciamento para calcular a distância de cada sócio para o estádio, e utiliza técnica de estimação do Credit Scoring em dois estágios, com a base de perfis ativos e inativos.
This commentary considers the impacts of COVID-19 on sport governance and management, given the global threat to sport services and organizations evident as a result of the disease since early 2020. ...To frame this analysis of the impacts and lessons to be learned, we use a Critical Realist (CR) perspective, which takes a multi-level view of reality and seeks to establish how and why something occurs in reality Byers, T. While the existing commentaries and emerging research on COVID19 have focused on a superficial level of reality (i.e. what stakeholder responses have been), a CR view encourages a more holistic account of what and why something happens. Specifically, this commentary contributes to the discussion of COVID-19 impacts focusing on sport governance, using a philosophy that encourages examination of what is happening in sport organizations, how different stakeholder's perspectives and assessment of the legitimacy of COVID-19 may reveal underlying social structures and biases that help explain sport administrator's responses and value systems. We hope this novel perspective on sport governance encourages readers to think of new ways of organizing and governing that is more inclusive of diversity (e.g. race, gender, disability) in sport.
This study aims to improve the technical ability of students in reading references related to learning process. The basis of this research is based on case studies and role play. The technique used ...in this research is skimming and scanning techniques. The course taken in this study is subject that researchers are capable of in learning process, namely sports management. Based on the process, this research is categorized using quantitative and qualitative approaches to strengthen research data. The subject used in this study is 30 students of the Physical Education Health and Recreation Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, the University of Riau. In accumulating the data, the researchers took all the data by means of observation and questionnaire. The quantitative data obtained in this study were analyzed by using software with the results in the form of percentages, maximum scores, and averages. While the qualitative data in this study were analyzed by making a narration, describing the data that were taken and then concluding the final results of the study. It can be concluded that there is a significant difference in student's satisfaction before and after the treatment of skimming and scanning techniques in sport management course . The satisfaction obtained from the skimming and scanning techniques can trigger self-motivation from students to continue reading from various references and can affect the emergence of student's interest in writing.

This work analyses a unique data set of the prices of actual transactions of shares from clubs in the big European leagues from 2001 until 2019. A theoretical model is presented introducing financial, sporting, and localisation variables to study their influence in market value.
We have found that the valuation of football clubs in acquisitions is influenced by financial parameters, as in other profit-seeking investments, and does not depend on the subjective preference of the buyers.
Our findings show the end of the alignment of interests between new football owners and fans or current organisers of competitions, due to the preferences of the new investor profit-seekers of an American model of sport.
The ownership of football clubs in the big leagues has changed dramatically in the last years. For the first time, to the best of our knowledge, the present paper demonstrates the opportunity of analysing the valuations of the football industry with actual data from the transactions.
Underwater vital signs monitoring of respiratory rate, blood pressure, and the heart's status is essential for healthcare and sports management. Real‐time electrocardiography (ECG) monitoring ...underwater can be one solution for this. However, the current electrodes used for ECGs are not suitable for aquatic applications since they may lose their adhesiveness to skin, stable conductivity, or/and structural stability when immersed into water. Here, the design and fabrication of water‐resistant electrodes to repurpose stretchable electrodes for applications in an aquatic environment are reported. The electrodes are composed of stretchable metal–polymer composite film as the substrate and dopamine‐containing polymer as a coating. The polymer is designed to possess underwater adhesiveness from the dopamine motif, water stability from the main scaffold, and ionic conductivity from the carboxyl groups for signal transmission. Stable underwater conductivity and firm adhesion to skin allow the electrodes to collect reliable ECG signals under various conditions in water. It is shown that wearable devices incorporated with the water‐resistant electrodes can acquire real‐time ECG signals during swimming, which can be used for revealing the heart condition. These water‐resistant electrodes realize underwater detection of ECG signals and can be used for health monitoring and sports management during aquatic activities.
Water‐resistant stretchable electrodes are fabricated with a specially designed polymer. The polymer is adhesive underwater to bridge the electrode and skin, and ionic‐conductive to transmit electrophysiological signals. The conformal electrodes realize reliable electrocardiography (ECG) detection when moving the body or being impacted with water flow, which enables stable wireless real‐time ECG collection during swimming with a wearable device.
This commentary offers an analysis of the implications of Covid-19 on the future of elite women's football, with the intention of reflecting on and illuminating the threat and uncertainty facing the ...game. Topics covered include (1) organisational and economic repercussions; (2) consequences for player contracts, migration and investment; and (3) player wellbeing. These significant challenges require swift and decisive action in order to mitigate their potential effects. Recommendations are made for governing bodies, parent clubs and practitioners, in addition to possible future research directions for academics. We reflect upon what can be done during and post-pandemic to continue the momentum and growth of women's football in England, highlighting the need for football clubs to learn from previous crises by embracing innovation and entrepreneurship.
