By the year 2020 Alice Wheelwright, incoming chair of the Women's Foodservice Forum, or WFF, hopes to see women make up at least half of all boards and senior management teams across the foodservice ...industry. Now that the association is self-managed, Wheelwright said, the aim is to improve its financial health by building a sound infrastructure, improving member services and developing a strategic plan for future growth. The WFF also will sponsor research and develop best practices guidelines to help organizations build and benefit from gender-diverse leadership.
