    The paper deals with development of CAD/CAM system and principles of simultaneous engineering in tools, dies and moulds production. The aims of developed system was to increase the productivity, to ... decrease the investment, to increase the level of data exchange and to making the expert reports. The CAD/CAM in tooling industry is treated as 5-level hierarchical model with main data Bus on one side and technological data base on another side. The levels are connected together according to the principles of simultaneous engineering. CIM is treated as "Y" diagram. The model was implemented in tools industry.
