    The e-book is the result of the project Protection and Development of the Slovenian Landscape: Starting points for drafting the Landscape Policy, implemented with the financial support of the ... Ministry of the Environment and Spatial Planning by the Slovenian Association of Landscape Architects, IPOP Institute for Spatial Policies and CIPRA Slovenia. The publication presents the Concept of the Landscape Policy of Slovenia, which was created on the basis of professional work and consultations with the professional and general public. The e-book presents in a summarised form the goals, principles and starting points of the Concept of Landscape Policy of Slovenia and the five proposed pillars - the legal framework; organisational framework; landscape protection, planning and management tools; awareness raising, education, professional development and good practice; and financial mechanisms. A proposal for an action plan for the first five-year period of implementation of the Landscape Policy of Slovenia is also given. www.krajinskapolitika.si
