  • Effect of different inhibitors on stainless steel "1.4057" corrosion resistance [Elektronski vir]

    In the present study, the efficiency of Na3PO4, NaNO2, Na2O7Si3 and Na2B4O7, as corrosion inhibitors for stainless steel '1.4057' in 0.075 M H2SO4, has been studied. The synergistic effect of (NaNO2 ... + Na2B4O7) was also examined. For testing the corrosion resistance a gravimetric method was employed. The experiments were performed at room temperature and different concentrations of inhibitors. The inhibiting action increases with the concentration of the inhibitors, and is most pronounced with NaNO2.
