  • Quality safety and health management as an integral part of business excellence

    The quality loop of the occupational safety, health protection and work environment outlines a model of mutual relationships of a system towards a defined objective. This paper argues that the ... fundamental oblective of functionally related elements should be "no injuries, no health damages and no disabilities". In the first stage of the application of the integral quality of occupational safety, health protection and work environment it is necessary to examine the performance and extent of our work. The essential aidin carrying out audits is a special check-list, which can be standardised. The author argues that the information obtained does not only influence the development and behaviour of the organisation; it has a more far-reaching effect, such as on insurance companies, health institutions, administrative bodies, etc. The traditional deliberation on professional tasks is gradually making way for new approaches, thus creating a new type of tasks based on the prevention of mistakes made in the early phases of research and development.
