본 연구는 한국어 읽기 연구 동향을 살펴보고 이를 바탕으로 후속 연구를 위해 시사점을 제시하는 데에 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 2013년부터 2023년까지 발표된 읽기 논문을 수집하여 발행 연도, 연구 주제, 연구 방법, 연구 대상별로 분류하여 살펴보았다. 살펴본 결과 평균적으로 매년 23편의 연구가 이루어지고 있는 것을 알 수 있었다. 아울러 연구 주제의 경우 교재 및 자료에 관한 연구가 가장 높은 빈도로 나타나고 있는 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한 연구 방법을 살펴본 결과 양적 연구 방법이 주를 이루고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 마지막으로 연구 대상을 살펴본 결과 일반 목적을 대상으로 이루어진 연구와 초중고급을 대상으로 이루어진 연구가 가장 많은 것을 알 수 있었다. 그리고 중국어권을 대상으로 한 연구가 가장 많은 것을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 후속 연구를 위해 시사점을 제시하였다. This study sought to examine the trends in reading research in Korean and suggest implications for further research. Accordingly, we collected reading papers published from 2013 to 2023 and categorized them by year of publication, research topic, research method, and research subjects. On average, 23 studies were published each year. In terms of research topics, textbooks and materials were the most frequently studied. We also investigated research methods and found that quantitative methods dominated. Finally, regarding the audience of the studies, most studies were general purpose, most were for beginner and intermediate students, and most were for Chinese speakers. Based on these findings, we present suggestions for future research.
