NICE - das "Netzwerk für Innovation in der Bildungs- und Berufsberatung in Europa" entstand im Jahr 2009 durch einen Zusammenschluss von mittlerweile 45 Universitäten und Forschungseinrichtungen in 30 europäischen Ländern mit dem Ziel, die Professionalisierung, Koordination und Zusammenarbeit der Berufs- und Bildungsberatung in Europa voranzutreiben. Ein zentrales Ergebnis dieses Netzwerks ist die Erarbeitung von Kompetenzstandards für Bildungs- und BerufsberaterInnen. Im vorliegenden Beitrag werden diese erstmals in Österreich vorgestellt und kritisch gewürdigt. Raum wird dabei auch der Beschreibung des Entwicklungsprozesses und der leitenden Annahmen und Überlegungen gegeben. Zum Abschluss wird am Beispiel eines relevanten Studienangebots der Donau-Universität Krems der Versuch einer ersten Umsetzung dieser Kompetenzstandards reflektiert. (DIPF/Orig.). NICE (Network for Innovation in Career Guidance and Counselling in Europe) emerged in 2009 when around 45 universities and research institutions in 30 European countries started to join forces to promote the professionalization, coordination and cooperation of career guidance and counselling in Europe. A central outcome of this network is the development of competence standards for career counsellors. This article is the first to present and critically appraise them in Austria. A space is also provided for describing the development process and the guiding assumptions and thoughts. It concludes with the example of a related study programme at Danube University Krems and reflects on a first attempt to implement these competence standards. (DIPF/Orig.).
