Kako je 19. stoljeće stoljeće razvoja konstrukcija, tako je 20. stoljeće je stoljeće razvoja novih materijala za konstrukcije, ali i završne radove pa tako razvoj i upotrebu konstrukcija uvedenih u 19. i 20. stoljeću slijedi i razvoj fasadnih sistema. U radu se analizira ovaj razvoj na primjerima u Rijeci i riječkoj okolici. Since the 19th century is the century of the development of structures, the 20th century is the century of the development of new construction and finishing works materials.
