Currently, archaeology uses dating systems that are notcomparable, based on historical chronology, dendrochronology, and two typesof radiocarbon dates: AMS and LSC. However, the latter suggest, as a rule, earlier dates. Contrary to this, the intervals based on historical chronology anddendrochronology are quite comparable. The intervals obtained by means ofBayesian statistics of AMS dates are also very close. The problem is aggravatedby the fact that the use of the standard typological method does not allowcomplexes to be synchronized accurately, since the duration of the existence ofsome type can be different in two areas. More accurate evidence can be takenfrom the first appearance of any cultural complex as a result of migration.Such migrations were usually forced by natural disasters. Correspondently, the latter can be used as a chronological benchmark, which makes it possiblefor the processes taking place in remote areas to be connected. Based on allthis, a chronological system of the European EBA, eastern European MBAand of the so-called 2200 even is suggested. The obtained interval becomesyounger and shorter than those based on the radiocarbon chronology.
