Desde la perspectiva histórica, se analiza el proceso de conflictividad social desencadenado en Barva de Heredia a raíz del proyecto de desarrollo turístico del macizo del Barva: sus causas, los actores sociales involucrados y la parti-cipación del Estado y el poder local. El período cubierto es 2002-2007. From the historical perspective, there is analyzed the process of social conflict unleashed in Barva, Heredia immediately after the project of tourist development of the clump of the Barva: this reasons, the social involved actors and the participation of the State and the local power.
