It is apparent that US military officials are not serious about transformation of the armed services. The Pentagon appears to live in a sea of slogans, elaborate electronic graphics, and a self-satisfied belief that new platforms will not solve tactical and operational problems, but slick presentations do not equate to serious military thought.
