Communication and learning between disciplines is of utmost importance for psychiatry to benefit from novel developments such as precise drug delivery of small molecules, electric sensing techniques of biomarkers and neuromorphic computing to boost artificial intelligence. In the presentation and overview and current research examples will be presented. For example, we implemented breath gas analysis in a clinical trial to study the utility markers from the gut-lung-brain axis associated with therapy response and develop sensor based artificial intelligence technics.
