The mind map is a tool of planning and information note of unlinearformed, which favors the memorization, creativity, ideas organization and enable the qualitative data analysis. The objective of this research was identify which is the overview of articles about mind maps published on Scientific Periodicals Eletronic Library (SPELL) and Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO). It was used the Spell and SciELO data base for the survey of articles containing on yours abstracts or on yours titles, the words “mind maps”. The search realized on November of 2018, identified 19 articles, 9 articles was found in Spell database and 10 articles in SciELO database. The results of this research have evidenced that the theme researched is emergingand the reflections realized made possible to initiates a debate concerningBrazilian scientific production about mind maps, seeing the importation and relevance of thematic.
