    The first edition of a study of the ancient historians of Alexander the Great, written by French historian and man of letters Baron Guillaume de Sainte-Croix (1746–1809), who wrote mostly on the themes of the ancient history and literature. The study, in which is mentioned an impressive number of ancient writers and their works, was awarded by the French Académie. At the beginning of the French revolution, de Sainte-Croix was supporter of the reforms, but latter he was imprisoned and his possessions were pillaged. Latter he became a member of the reformed, Napoleonic Institute. The book contains a gravure map of the Alexander’s expedition. Prvo izdanje studije o antičkim istoričarima Aleksandra Velikog koje je napisao baron Gijom de Sent-Kroa, francuski istoričar (1746-1809), koji je uglavnom pisao o antičkoj istoriji i književnosti. Studiju, u kojoj je pomenut veliki broj antičkih pisaca i njihova dela, nagradila je Francuska akademija. Na početku Francuske revolucije reforma je podržala Sent-Kroa, ali kasnije je bio uhapšen a njegovi posedi opljačkani. Kasnije je postao član reformisanog Napoleonskog instituta. Knjiga sadrži gravure mapa o ekspedicijama Aleksandra Velikog.
