ELINKS – Access to e-publications via records in COBIB
ELINKS is a database on Internet links to e-publications. It mainly comprises web addresses (URLs) to electronic books and serials that are, under special agreements between library consortia and information service providers, accessible only to a limited number of users; it also comprises web addresses to other e-publications.

The purpose of the database is to update web addresses and to check the possibilities of accessing these publications from the COBIB shared bibliographic database.
An individual record in ELINKS contains the publication ID, web address details and a link to the bibliographic record for the publication in COBIB. Based on this web address, users may access bibliographic data, abstracts and full-text articles in serials, as well as other full-text e-publications. Records are updated from time to time. Due to links between the records of both databases, a COBISS+ user who searches for data on a certain e-publication in COBIB always finds a current URL of the publication that he/she needs.
